Good Morning OFFr's,

Seems like no one is up but little ol me today, I've been up for an hour and waited to see if anyone else got us started, but what the heck, I'm wanting to see you all this morning and so I'll start us up. . .

Well last night I slammed my big toe into an ottoman and ouchy, that hurt, broke the nail pretty low and don't know how it will feel when I put my feet into shoes today.  Today promises to be a very busy workday, people in for hearings and after work, Barix post-op support group meeting.

Nothing too much else happening.

So I'll look forward to hearing about your day.

Wishing each and everyone of you the best day possible and peace and strength for the more challenging parts of living.

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Laureen. Today I have to finish some shopping. Only 2 kids left to buy for. I made a lot of gifts so that really helps.
Also need to drop off lasagna to my son & his co workers. I made them some homemade bread too.
I spent about 1 1/2 hrs. wrapping yesterday. Sometimes I just want to give gift cards.
It is so cold here & so much snow. I hate to go out.
My son & his girls should be here the first of next week. I miss them so much.

Have a wonderful day all!!! Nan

Good Morning Laureen and friends to follow, It's still way early in the am here on the west coast. The wind is howling yet again but at least it is in the 40s.

We put up our Christmas tree yesterday. It's really rather large for our space but it looks nice and I know the twins will really enjoy it this year. Didn't get tons of things out as their little fingers like to touch a lot! I saved a bag or selected unbreakable ornaments for them to place on the lower branches of the tree when they arrive next week. It will be fun to watch.

Erin gave them a gingerbread house to decorate last week and sent us the pictures of them decorating it. She put the frosting on and then they added all of the trimmings. One M and M for the house, one for Hannah. . .another candy for the house, one for Clara!

Shopping is finished, presents are wrapped and we are so ready to see them. They'll be here about 5 days. . . Give me strength, patience, and most of all let us relax and just enjoy the time together.

I'll probably be working the rest of the week so I'm glad we got that done. Made a big pot of ham and beans yesterday. Susan, I'm sure I'll be making some beer bread to go with!

Nothing much else going on in my world. You all take care!

Just nasty winds tho I read of a twister not too far from Portland, OR. Very rare for this area.  I think I envy that bra and those perky little breasts! I want to get my excess upper thigh skin removed next summer if I can make enough $$. Doubt if I ever do anything with the arms and breasts. My brother's comment after I had the lower body lift and was unhappy with the thighs: "Kinda like painting one room in the house isn't it?" How true. . . .  Just know how good you look out there running those errands. You go girl!

I have to tell you "Painting one room"  gave me the laugh I needed today. Thank you.  I'm just waiting, waiting for approval like everyday for the past 3 weeks, sighhhhhhh.

Lori, Being patient over something I have  no control over is so tough. I so understand. However, the having to wait will make you that much prepared when your day does arrive. Hope you get that message that you've been approved soon. No regrets here!

Hi Lori- hey! Do you live in Modesto? I recognize your doctor. The paint comment cracked me up too! Hey Karen! In my case, I have three rooms with old paint and six with new... the old is VERY OLD PAINT!

Good morning Laureen and OFF family. Well for me it's "Hump Day" and I'm looking forward to 4:30 on Friday. Love my weekends!

Have choir practice at church tonight. We are singing on Sunday. It's cold here and I'm trying to warm up from my drive here to work. Nothing exciting here at work today. So I'm just plugging along and going with the flow! Hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie
