Made it to Chicago
Hey y'all:
Well, I'm pooped and sore after a long day of traveling. Got up at 7 a.m., left the house shortly after 8, stopped to get some stamps, then stopped at the office to fill out a timesheet (no one told me I had to fill one out ahead of time ... and besides there weren't any for this week ... I had to ask ... you have to ask about everything here). Then off to the airport. Well, they don't open security at the little Monroe airport until about a half hour before they take off. Live and learn. I still required more time ... I have to get the total body pat-down (it used to be a scan ... because of my knee). I lost my watch somewhere along the way. Probably in the Monroe airport ... oh well, I can call when I get back and see if they found a watch.
Anyway, I'm here and visiting with my brother and mom (we watch "Come to the Stable" ... old Christmas movie). I'm pretty tired ... they're watching another movie that I'm not interested in. Just thought I'd say hi.

Hi Eileen,
Glad you made it safe and sound and hope you enjoy being with your family.
