My year just keeps getting worse
Today was payday, and I thought I knew what I was getting in my check. But it was light, so I e-mailed the editor (because we no longer have an HR person ... she left and was not replaced) ... and later I got a call from the finance person in Shreveport.
Seems my condo association has garnished my wages from the past unpaid fees that I was told not to pay by the settlement negotiator on the sale of the condo. So now I can't afford to pay all my bills for this pay period and next pay period I won't have enough to pay rent and my power bill and everything else I need to do.
I had a bunch of stuff I needed to do today, bills I needed to pay, a car repair I needed to get done, my Christmas presents (not that many ... gifts for my grandnephews, one for my sister who's my grab bag gift this year and one for my mom ... that's it ... we have a dollar limit, too). Still, I'm out of money and still need to get gas. Don't know what I'm going to do. I'm going to Chicago on Tuesday and have no money for the return trip.
Sorry ... I've unloaded my financial woes so many times but I have no other place to go. I need to get prescriptions filled and can't do it. So much for the haircut/color, too (unnecessary ... it will grow for another month).
