Hi Grammylew and my OFF family:

I started posting and my computer froze. So I'm back again.

Anyway, it's a beautiful sunny day in Cajun country, 40 degrees, so cool enough to wear one of my famous Christmas sweaters, although no one will say a word at work. No one notices anything. Sunday, I went in to fill out my timesheet correctly. No one said hello or anything. In Grand Rapids, I would have gotten, "What are you doing here?"

I went out yesterday with my new friend Patricia, who was Juliette's former mommy. She's going to take care of Juliette next week while I'm in Chicago. Such a nice woman. We went out to lunch at this Chinese place that I've gotten take-out a few times. That woman who works there remembers exactly what you order everytime (although I didn't order the same thing this time). Good food, no MSG in it, they will use brown rice if you ask them.

Then I got a lot of my Christmas stuff out and got some more decorating done. Got my village out and put out the lighted snow runner ... well, not long after I did that, Juliette chewed through the little cords on it and it no longer lights up. Patricia had given me this stuff called Bitter Yuck (and let me tell you, it is yucky, I got some on my hands and thought I washed it off but boy, it's horrible). I hadn't put it on the cords on the village until after she destroyed that one. She was in serious trouble. I heard this weird noise ... I thought it was scratching. Since the village is behind me, I wasn't sure what it was. I got up and saw the cords severed and knew what I heard wasn't scratching but an electrical sound. I had already thrown out one of the light-up snow runners because the cords were disconnected (they are very delicate). So now I have it on the table but it doesn't work.

I promised a photo of her mischief yesterday and I will post it if it works. I did upload it from the camera. She's such a little devil. But cute anyway. I do love her.

Anyway, back to work tonight. I want to get the rest of my Christmas stuff up before I go to work. Maybe get my cards addressed in between or at least start. Have a good day.

Juliette is too cute!  I'm not a cat owner, if one can ever be(!), but they sure are endearing.
