i have read that Whole Milk (cow's milk) has Less Carbs than the Non Fat, 1%, and 2%... does anyone drink REAL Whole Milk regularly? NOT Almond Milk, or Soy Milk... just Real Whole Milk... i LOVE milk and i cant even imagine not being able to drink it after i have my RNY... i mean, im not really going to drink that much... maybe 8-10 ounces a day right? ANYONE DRINK THE REGULAR WHOLE MILK REGULARLY???
Start Weight 275 - im 52yrs Old - 5'7"

Yes, there is ONE less gram of carbs in whole milk than skim. However, there is 8 grams of fat in comparison to .2 grams in skim milk. 8 grams of fat in 8 oz of whole milk represents 12% of the calories from fat.
Depending on what your doc/nut recommends, when I was in my losing phase I didn't exceed 10% of my calories from fat at any one meal. I chose not to waste my fat grams on whole milk, but got what I needed through my protein sources.
When I got sick and was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay underweight, my nut had me substitute whole milk for skim in order for me to put some weight on from the fat.
