rainy tuesday-what's new with you?

I guess great minds really do think alike.  I have been cleaning also.  Got my office totally straight and it has stayed that way for a week.  I haven't been able to see the top of the counter for over a year.  Everyone throws misc. stuff there and I finally pitched most of it.  Then I cleaned and arranged all my dresser drawers.  today I am working on my cabinets and drawers in my bathroom.  After that I tackle the kitchen.  Then back to the bedroom and my half of the closet.  Won't touch DH's.  I  don't like it when he puts hanging clothes away since he just puts them in whatever space he finds.  I have a system and can't find anything if it is not in the right place.  thin items like tank tops get hidden between heavy sweaters etc.  They can stay lost forever.  Which is why I have to rehang everything.  I also have some high rods and asked DH to get a step stool so I could reach them.  He comes home with a ladder on wheels.  doesn't everyone have an 8 foot ladder in their closet.  I do appreciate the wheels since he wants it available at all times.  I just push the dang thing around out of my way.  I hope to have every closet and cabinets organized by mid December.

You are so right.....I feel much better.

Good mornin' ya'll.
I should finish all my 'mixing up' today. I have 2 more bars to make than mix up 3 kinds of cookies that have to be refrigerated and shaped in some way before they can be baked. I'll probably wait until tomorrow to bake them.
If the Dr agrees, my last PT for my shoulder will be Thursday. I'll still do my exercises at home to get my strength back. I'll see him on Thursday, and we'll talk about that and about when I can get my left hip done.
Last night my DIL brought some pants from a co worker that need to be hemmed, some jammies from another co worker that need lace on the bottoms bacause they are too short, and a pair of her own pants that need a 3 corner tear repaired. Plus I am still making doggy chew toys from fleece scraps and doggy 'biscuits' for her to give to co workers for Christmas. I absolutely LOVE to be busy making and doing for my kids!!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Good morning Margo and OFF family to post! Happy Tuesday.

Work is busy, got here early to take some things off my plate before my volunteers start. It's rainy here in Michigan and it's warm, no coat, just a sweater...but the snow will fly next week and maybe I'll get more into the Christmas Spirit! Hugs Debbie

I'm here, beautiful pink & gold sunrise, then a shower....no rainbow. Sober, still OCDing, waiting for hubby's meds to arrive. Got the VA social work to intervene with this and they are supposed to overnight the meds to us. Please keep fingers and toes crossed that they arrive. He is in such pain from his hip, back, and sciatic nerve. Thank you for support and prayers.

Sometimes one day at a time is all the goal we can strive for.  Keep up the good work, and don't be a stranger.

Hello everybody

I'm okay. Just super nervous waiting to hear something, anything from Tom's doctor. He promised to call them today to get some sort of appointment.

It is really really hard not to show him how freaked out I am by this. As if he doesn't know me after all these years.

One day at a time, one minute at a time.

My old email & facebook account are not accessable even to ME. Another stressor. I sure hope nobody sent that SOB any $$$.

Kisses

Everyone must have had fingers & toes crossed cause John's meds just arrived from VA via UPS. Wow that social worker sure worked a miracle. Thanks all.

Great! Isn't it wonderful when something finally works that way it is supposed to? Hmmm. . . asking for help is not necessarily a bad thing. . . :)
