rainy tuesday-what's new with you?

Good Morning Sunshines! All dressed, boots on, feel like the little guy in "Christmas Story!" Waiting for my morning phone call to tell me where to go. . (work that is!) If I don't work I have plenty of other things to do. Started some decorating. Since Erin's family changed their plans and will be here for Christmas that changes the decoratin plan considerably. Wasn't going to put up the big tree. Can't get out of it now. Replaced my 4 pendant lights over the bar with red and green party lights. Not as much light but they sure look cool! We're having an open house for friends on Dec 10 so I want to make it as festive as possible without taking up standing or sitting space. Will put the tree up . Got the call, out the door I go!

Morning Margo and OFF family!! WOW!!! I slept in til just after 10 this morning!! Must have needed the sleep!!

Seems everyone is having some PC problems today...me..I am having all sorts of pop-ups even with my pop-ups turned on/off ?? so I do NOT get them!! I am also getting a ton of SPAM emails!! Where are they all coming from?? Holy Crap!!! It is driving me nuts I tell ya!!! GRRRRR Also my YAHOO toolbar keeps disappearing!!! Sighs

Rained hard here last night and its 55* here now and calling for snow tomorrow!! Dam!!! Make up your mind mother nature will ya?? This warm and cold everyother day is for the birds not me!!!

Still trying to find the Christmas gifts that were packed when we moved. Why can't we find them? GRRRR I NEED to find them so I can get them wrapped and rest easy!! Not sure if I am going to make cookies this year or not. Still super pissed at Rick's family and its not just from the move anymore. Just not sure what I am going to do yet for baking. Still have time to think about it. I know my mom loves my cookies so I will probably make some and take them to her when we go back to Michigan for Christmas. They still have no clue that we will be coming...lol going to be a great Christmas!!! :-)

Well better get going loads of things to do before work tonight. My favorite shift...5-9. NOT! Got a call from work last night asking if I could switch shifts Thursday and Friday. Sure!! I now have Friday night off instead of Thursday. GREAT!!! Would rather have Friday night off anyhow!! Its payday!!! :-)

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

It rained and rained here yesterday ... really came down when I was going to work yesterday afternoon. There were tornados in the area, too (none too close to us, but a few touched down in the coverage area). We are supposed to go down in the 30s overnight tonight. It's already in the 40s today. Don't know why I was so warm last night. I kept waking up with the sweats. Didn't sleep all that well last night.

Work was just work ... not a whole lot going on. It's just hard having one day off, then working again. Don't feel very rested at all.

Monica, so glad to hear your hubby's pain meds have made it ... for his sake as well as yours. Keep going one day at a time. That's all you can do.

I got my first Christmas card of the season ... my cousin Mat, the judge. He's always the first. Don't know when he has the time. When I see the handwriting on the envelope, I think of my godmother, his mom. They write the so much the same.
