I'm starting this early- yesterday you were all on the same wave length and had three threads. I'm going to bed in a few... I have work tomorrow.
Nothing much going on this week except for a funeral midweek I think. My TOPS friend Barbara died on Thanksgiving night. I've mentioned before that having older friends can be hard when they die.At least we had some nice memories from the play and last weeks meeting.
I hope that your day goes well...

good morning smilin julia!
you have mentioned your TOPS friend....her passing is probly harder since it was unexpected and so soon after an enjoyable day with her...we need to all learn from this passing not to take advantage that our friends will always be there--any one of us could pass, God forbid!

i was glad to see your face this morning so that i didn't have to start the thread!!!

my week is starting with work today then 3 days at home- hopefully my car will be fixed today or tomorrow-

cleaning and straightening and maybe some holdiay decorating.... a craft project with a deadline this week for an exchange.....

so i'll be busy...which is good...idle hands, ya know!

brrrr cold this morning ...i wanted to wear a skirt to work but i don't think it would look good with thermal underwear covering my legs- not sure where my tights are??? hmmm put that on my list for this week....

anyhow- i'm in a much better place this morning and am sending hugs and prayers to all of you...

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning:

Julia - so sorry to hear about your friend - sending our condolences.

The long weekend is over - where did it go???  Well I didn't get anything packed in the house as planned.  I think I'm still in denial that this construction is supposed to start soon on the house.  Maybe once we get the final word this week on the permit then I'll come out of the denial and get started packing.

Today I'm up getting ready for work.

I have work till 4pm, then class till 10pm.

Hope everyone has a great day...

Ida

Julia sorry for your loss. Enjoy going to work again.
Life for me is so hard now. My husband is without his pain medications and is hurting so. He is drinking heavily, so happy I am not. 26 days sober for me. My OCD has really exploded and mentally I am a wreck. Prayers please, Monica

Monica, 26 days is great! So proud of you, especially with your husband drinking in front of you. That must make it doubly hard.

Hang in there, we're here for you!

Monica, congrats. I can imagine that is quite an achievement and difficult to maintain when your hubby is drinking. You're in my thoughts.

I can imagine how it would be to be without pain meds. I have pain meds and am still in pain.

Good morning Julia and all my OFFer's!

Well, today is the last day of my vacation. It's going to rain like crazy today, so it's a good thing I have plenty of things to do here at home. I plan on spending a good deal of time shopping online for Cyber Monday, and hope to get most of my shopping out of the way. I love shopping this way as I am around enough hustle and bustle at the salon as it is without going out to malls in search of it....lol

We got our outside lights up yesterday, so I might start thinking about starting in the house. We're having some work done around here, so I'm going to have to figure out how to work around that.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Love and hugs

Susan
