What's New?- THANKSGIVING
I'm thankful for so much this year... you all know these things already! I wish you all comfort and peace within yourselves on this special day!
Julia
I don't post often anymore as life gets in the way, but I read often. I am not sure if I am known well enough to be missed when I am not here but I don't worry about that as I always feel welcome when I am here!
Have a safe and enjoyable day everyone
My day will be spent packing and deleting I think, Mom is fixing dinner despite saying just last year she would never do it again and of course is refusing to let anyone else bring anything! Gotta love it! Matt (my son) will be arriving about one, I texted him to be prepared to take some stuff HOME with him, like food, tools stuff like that. Plus his stuff that was in my attic. There will be some stuff stored up there while it's being rented out until I find a house of my own.
Need to get busy soon as the movers are coming Monday morning between 8-10 am! The stuff will be delivered the following weekend so hopefully I will have a place by then!
Hope you all have a GREAT day!
i am having dinner with mom and family up the hill.....i need to bake a mince meat pie -and hopefully there are green beans in my freezer for casserole!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good morning...Happy Thanksgiving to all on OFF !!!
Having dinner with my family today..somber one. This was my sister -in-laws favorite holiday. This is the first Thanksgiving sincer her passing. Its going to be blessed and hard at the same time.
I AM NOT BRAVE enough to go anywhere on Black Friday !! I'm staying home with my grand daughter. WE are making Thanksgiving dinner here at my house for Friday..she will help.
Blessings to all...wishing you the best today.
Marcy
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
The smells of turkey cooking across the hall are making me drool...LOL can't wait til ours is smelling good!!! Rick is doing the cooking again as usual. Seems its HIS kitchen anymore so be it. I won't argue with him. :-)
We have flood watches out for alot of Ohio with heavy rians predicted today into tomorrow. Snow might also be here along with freezing rain. Wait and see. Glad I am not going anywhere!
Missing my family today but looking forward to Christmas and the look on mom's face when she see's me at the door!!! ;-) Counting down the days!!!
Got my work schedule for next week and had it out with the one that does the scheduling...seems I am down to 28 hours...I asked if I wasn't full time any more. She said yes you are and I asked her why I only had 28 hours then. She said she would figure out something for me to do and let me know. I hope so!! Because 28 hours just doesn't cut it!!! Hell even working 30 hours that she had been giving me doesn't help much to pay the bills let alone get anything for gifts!!! So have to see what she comes up with. One good thing is she has the new woman that doesn't have a clue in food court is now switched to Demo's. Hope she can handle that job!!!
Ok going to get a cup of coffee and watch the rest of the parade...and relax...and call mom and just veg the rest of the day and eat and have a drink or two of my eggnogg with brandy...mmm mmmm gooooood!!!! So again...Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!
Love and Hugs
It's gray and gloomy here today... still 76 but for me, it feels cooler. I have the day off but I'll go into the office potluck. I'm making cranberry sauce but using splenda (that way, I can have it and the other guy in the office who's diabetic can have it, too). Otherwise, I'm going to watch football and relax. Maybe I'll get some Christmas stuff out.
I'm so grateful for all of you here on OFF. I don't know what I would do without you. You keep me sane (or at least a little less crazy

Well, have a good Thanksgiving wherever you're going and whatever you're doing.
Eileen and Juliette (who I'm also grateful to have in my life)
