Does anyone else think it's wrong to charge someone $350 for airfare and then drop them off on the Tarmac, leaving them to walk to the terminal? It really frosts my behind, or should I say "frosty's" my arse since we're at O'Hare and it's really cold outside

We have another hour before our flight to Green Bay, and from then an hour north to Sturgeon Bay. Gary's step mom is beside herself trying to make sure she has the right things for me to eat. Gotta love her, but her worrying is stressing me out! LOVE the holidays, don't you all?
Ok, off I go. Going to knit for a bit, maybe read some to pass the time. Gary's off to find a 'Bucks.
You all have a wonderful day!

Susan...back in '96 my sister and I missed our flight back to Michigan coming back fom Jamacia!! Had to spend a COLD night in O'HARE in our summer clothes!! Talk about freezing!!! BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! We finally had a nice worker give us a picky blanket to cover up with! All our clothes and jackets were in our luggage who knew where....and walking the terminal?? LMAOOOOOO that place is a joke when you have no idea where you are going!!! And they didn't know WHY WE had to get our luggage and have it checked in customs when we were still going to Michigan from Chicago!!! I will never fly again if I can't get from point A to point B on one flight!!! LOL
Hope you have a wonderful holiday with the family!!!

Good to see you again, Pat. Janet, hope your sister can settle into your home. Yeah, I know the feeling of not fitting in somewhere when I was obese. I remember going to this B&B in Victoria ... the guy was afraid I was going to break his dining room chairs. He was actually rude about it. The woman who owned the place told me which chair was the sturdiest, and that was fine, but the guy was obnoxious.
I didn't get much done at all yesterday. I was so tired. I did get laundry done and got out a bunch of garbage (boxes and stuff) but I wanted to get things ready to decorate for Christmas. Oh well. My knee was bothering me something fierce. Today, I woke up with a horrible headache. It's been warm and humid ... it's 80 degrees already. Maybe that's why I've been feeling so miserable. Well, back to work for two days, then I have Thanksgiving off.
Not much else going on. I wanted to get up earlier but didn't sleep all that well and then woke up with a headache (which is probably why I didn't sleep well ... went to sleep with one). Strange to have the A/C on in November, nearly December. Who knew?
Well have a good day.
Busy day here...my quilters are busy quilting away on the sunporch and we are getting ready for our annual Tree of Love Ceremony. Run, run and run some more! LOL...but it makes the day go by very fast and I love that!
Hugs,
Debbie
