I hope that your friend was able to visit while you were there. I'm sorry that you are losing her.
I had a wonderful week at work. I'm not saying that I had no pain, but the children and colleagues made the pain insignificant. My office is coming together nicely. Now I have a week off for Thanksgiving.
Tonight I went to Bunco and had a great time. We laughed so hard... endorphins galore. Bunco is at my house in December. I'm going to cook a turkey with all that goes with... and we'll have a gift exchange with the theme "warmth"... I have the biggest Christmas tree done already and the thin one is going to be started today. I love to decorate for Christmas... and this year is a special celebration year for me- the "It's not cancer!" Christmas...
We have rain here finally. I'll be sending it on to the rest of you shortly.

We got the results of Tom's tests which explains the previous problems. He has an iliac aneurysm. Totally frightening.
He insisted that I watch the video sent by the doctor before I freaked out. Didn't work, more freaked than before.
Surgery must happen. The sooner the better in my opinion. 50% of people with this diagnosis DIE before they make it to the OR.

nettie- oh my--your fears are exactly where i was a year ago at 4th of july when we went to nan's.... every time he blinked strangely i would freak!
