Well I made it through the night with the sciatic nerve bothering the hell out of me!!! Had to make the walk through the old apartment with the manager to make sure it was OK on how we left it. We passed inspection. :-) So now we are officially moved inour NEW apartment! Thank GOD!!! It is taking longer to put things away this time because I want to go through everything to sort out what I want to keep and what to toss out! So much stuff! Dumpster got alot already that wasn't worth the trip to goodwill.
Working today 1-9 and I am not looking forward to that at all with how my leg is feeling!! I hope I don't have to call the pain doc and have to go through another shot/block for this nerve again. Used the heating pad last night and it helped some so will try it again tonight. Pain meds help also.
Bought the turkey last night and a few other things we needed for Thanksgiving dinner. Just not up to dealing with the crowds in the next few days. I sure hope Rick's mom and brother aren't expecting an invite for dinner this year! His mom did help us move a very little bit and his brother not one thing!! Rick did help his brother move a few weeks ago back to their mom's. So when its time for him to move to his apartment...Rick said he will NOT be helping him again! But anyhow I would rather it be just Rick and myself for Thanksgiving this year anyhow. Selfish of me huh?
Well I best get off here and get things done and then ready for work. Sorry I rattled on so long today. Just been so long since I had anyone to "talk" to!! ;-) So have a good day and know that I do think of you all even when I am not on here!!

found out this morning that my eldest granddaughter is moving to florida-dunno when but have been expecting it.....it should be a good thing-i hope!
one of my favorite friday customers just came and told me he got fired so i probly won't see him anymore since he only came in to cash his (on us) paycheck.too bad--he's a hard worker -nice young man ....evidently he got pushed to the edge tho cuz he took it out on some equipment-not good.....hmmmm...
went with mom to the VFW for fish dinner last nite-yummo! good conversation with some friends- am gradually making friends here - a good thing!tonite i am cleaning the kitchen- replacing the "table" that michael put in with a different one- and hoping to reclaim some space.....tomorrow will be shopping and running around after work----got my loan for my tranny-need to get with my mechanic....really really wanting my own wheels back!!!!

No time to chat....need to get my hair dried, then go get groceries and drive down to Minneapolis to pick up my granddaughter and her friend for the weekend.

Not much going on here. It is gray and gloomy again ... good sleeping weather. The phone rang at 8:30 a.m. and woke me up, but I wasn't ready to get up, so I went back to sleep after going to the bathroom. Next time I got up, it was 10:30 ... I had a headache at 8:30, again at 10:30 ... fortunately, it's gone now ... Imitrex is a wonder. The phone call, BTW, was from the pain center, checking up on me ... the one in Michigan never did that ... but I'm fine so I don't need to call back.
I didn't do much of anything yesterday, just lounged around ... really couldn't do much, I was too drugged. I napped a couple of times, watched TV, played solitaire on the computer, watched the Bears (football) game, went to bed early because sitting up was uncomfortable, read in bed until midnight. My back feels better today; my knee still hurts.
So back to work tonight; I hope they've finally got the new guy on the system so I can get working on my new team and not have to do Monroe sports again (especially on a Friday night).
