What's New Wednesday???

Saw my PCP yesterday about the hand and leg pain.  He poked around and discovered I have bursitis...so he will be giving me cortisone injections for the next 3 weeks.  They set up the injection for my hand for next week....OMG my hand hurts so bad I don't think I can wait another week.  Calling today to see if I can get it today or tomorrow...it's my right hand and I have less and less usage of it everyday.

Margo did you get a little pkg in the mail???

Back to my M-W-F work schedule.....just can't do the everyday thing anymore -- too dang old!

Cortisone injections for the knee and hip as well.

Sounds like quite a move for you.  Vermont, I don't know anyone living there.  I think it's a beautiful state from pictures I've seen.  I think you're going to have true winters there though.  Moving certainly stinks.  I don't ever want to do it again.  I've missed alot.  How come you're moving there?  Snippy or not, you're lucky to still have your Dad.  Try to enjoy every minute.

Happy "Hump Day" OFF family,
Still busy crazy here at work. The time is flying by so fast, the holidays are coming way to fast this year for me. I gotta take time to slow down for myself and "de-stress"!!

I did bid on a job closer to home for me in Plainwell. Keep your fingers crossed for me. With gas prices going up again, it's still with the hospital but a "sister hospital" and it would be perfect for me!

I've missed reading your posts.  You're usually very inspiring to me.  Hope you're able to secure the job at the sister hospital.  I'm sure your co-workers will miss you tho.  It's nice to live close to work.  When I worked, I was eight minutes from driveway to door.  Not a bad commute  :o)   I will keep good thoughts for your new job.  Have a blessed day.

Good mornin', ya'll.

A crisp Wednesday. Although still warmer than usual.

Yesterday my DH had a podiatrist appt, then we went to the Commissary. As soon as that was all unloaded and put away our son came by for his lunch and a nap before going back to work. But before he left our 2 grandsons (and the new puppy) came by for a snack, then our DIL, then our son came back. During all those comings and goings I got a fantastic standing rib roast in the oven with mashed taters and everything to go with it. We all ate at 5 and everyone was gone by 6:30. Needless to say I got NOTHING done on the Halloween costume. I'm not sure about any of you other 'sewers' out there, but when I start a new project I have to have a few hours totally unineterupted so I can get into it and get the sense of how it is all gonna work out. So today, I am closing myself in the back of the house with my sewing and some CMT. If anyone shows up to eat, they'll have to have left overs and heat them up themselves. Unless I'm ready for a break!!

I've been absent from the site far too long.  I've missed so much...but a Halloween costume in November?  What did I miss there?  Sounds like you had a great busy day anyway.  Enjoy the family for sure!
