What's New, Tuesday

Good Morning OFFers!
I'm getting ready for bed- I have a big day tomorrow! I'm so excited! I'm going in late because I have a meeting my first day back! I am working 5 hour days, so I will go in at 10:30 and leave at 3:30. I can't wait to get back into the groove. I know that I will have pain, but I am so much better.
Today I finished decorating that HUGE Christmas tree. It looks absolutely beautiful. I had my husband do the tippy top... I guided each ornament. I feel so good that I can do my normal thing! I'm happy, I'm cancer-free, and my life is important.
Today I went to have my nails shellacked... I love it Susan! I drove a half hour to get it done, but I have a friend here who says that her sister does it and would be willing to come to Manteca every two weeks for a girl's night of doing our nails! I would LOVE that- social PLUS shellac, It's right up my alley. I'm sure it would probably cost the same but the gas would be much less!
Time for bed.... sleep tight everyone!

Julia; good luck your first day back to work!!!!

I'm just about ready to run out the door.  Have to pack up breakfast only.  Today is a half day of work for me, leaving work at 11:30am and heading to dentist for follow up.  Depending on what happens at dentist either the gym/treadmill or home to crash if my mouth is in pain.  Dental work is one of the few things that put me down and out.....

Another great night.  Easy.  A few calls, that's all.  And just counting them down until it is Vegas time.

Went to support group last night.  First time in a year.  Gotta do something to get back on track. Eating too much.  And the wrong stuff besides.  Keep me in your thoughts as I attack this.

You could come on back to the What Are You Eating thread......just sayin'

But then I would have to admit to what I eat.  Hmmm.

Well, that could be one solution.....confession is good for the soul!

Me too George.  Eating too much and the wrong stuff.  I got on the scale and I'm up 3#'s.  Yesterday I was really good, and today the scale still indicates that I'm up those 3# .  Usually if I go up like this, I can get it back off in a day.  Must be that my body is rebelling on me.  I WILL NOT GO BACK!

I read Susan's thread when I check out OH, but don't post.  I'm very busy these days, and hubby says I spend too much time on the computer.

5/5 ! probly still a gazillion of em! but i'm slowly trimming the herd!

yesterday; i scheduled my divorce- wierd to say that...dec 14th will be d-day and i'll be there! so i mailed all of the appropriate paperwork to the court and to michael.

by the time mom picked me up from work i was absolutely exhausted- and could hardly keep my eyes open to shop--we opted not for the "get ya" at meijers re the turkey and shopped at walmart- all was good.

went to dollar tree- i'm in a Victorian Christmas stocking exchange- a stocking and 4 items- "something to eat, something to read, something to play with and something you need"--with shipping all under $20. so i got the stocking and all ($4.00-not bad!)but the something you need- i think i have a nice hand lotion or something in my goodies box....postage will be the high cost! but fun!

my dad has another colonoscopy today to determine if they can reattach his bowel or if he stays bagged- prayers, please for the reattachment.

brody poo'd in the house again yesterday-not sure what is going on with him....

i have a big decision to make before dec 14th--- my name-
i had figured i would go back to my kids' last name (as i was before michael and i married) ; when you divorce you can do it-just a pain to change everything legally (dr lic etc)---however; i also want to change my name back to my birth name- and when i checked into it there was a 1 yr wait and some paperwork and cost involved- i don't think the judge would do it at divorce time - tho i will have hit the residency- barely- by then--even if i get the pprwork together....

so my dilemma- do i change it once thru the court then again to my birth name or do i leave it til i can go back to my birth name?????

i know- only I can make this decision cuz it's mine to own but i am really torn--just knowing the legal crap at the bank!

Im sure you know how many things happen when you change your name.....mix ups and all. I think you should wait and just do it once. Less chance of someone (like Social Security or the IRS) getting you all messed up.
