I am going to go toDenver tomorrow morning. My friend is out of the hospital and is in a rehab....I am so excited sheis getting better. But yesterday she was very lathargic and her color was way off. She is bleeding somewhere and is back in the hospital getting blood transfusions.
I want to donate some blood for her but they wont let me cause I have antibodies or something like that.....

I'm here. Still sick with the cold from last week. It seemed to be getting better, but the past few days it's worse. And now I'm running to the bathroom every few hours. Guess it may be the flu instead of a cold. First time since before my WLS 4-1/2 years ago. Fortunately, I had almost no plans for this week. I've stayed home, eaten soup and pushed fluids, and slept...a LOT! I'm glad I signed up for the DVR on my TV a few weeks ago. It's all that's kept me from going stir-crazy.

That, and sleeping 18 hours a day.....

I'm reading the board, but nothing to write, except whining that I don't feel good, and that gets old fast. By my calculations, I should be better by this coming Tuesday. 10 days, with or without meds is usually how long these things last. Good thing. Next week is a busy one.

I talked to her awhile ago after I moved to Louisiana ... she is busy working and can't get online too often and is having some health issues. It's her story, and I don't want to tell it. She sounds good and happy otherwise. I'm hoping sometime to go visit her.
