Recipe alert

Hi all,

Just thought I'd pop in with my latest, but not so greatest recipe idea.

So.....you know we've talked about protein coffee, right? I mix my sugar free creamer, a Tbs of vanilla protein pwdr and instant coffee together. I keep it in a rubbermaid container in the fridge at the salon for an afternoon pick me up.
Today I stopped at the local Kroger, went through the salad bar and made myself a nice salad full of crispy goodness. Since they don't offer a fat free dressing, I bring my own light Asian dressing in a rubbermaid container. Yeah, the exact same one that the protein coffee is in. Yes, they are indeed the same color, but protein coffee on a salad just doesn't taste QUITE the same as Asian dressing.

So, to review, I do NOT recommend this recipe to anyone!

Oh Susan thanks for the laugh, I've done my share of silly things foodwise. . .

Oh how funny!  You've got to start labelling your Tupperware!  I've done similar things myself and found a Sharpie works good for labelling.

I really felt stupid, I tell you. The girls had just left for a charity lunch and I declined because I brought the salad.... Wanted to be good, ya know?

Dinner really tastes a whole lot better than lunch did

oh susan, that is too too funny, of course i guess it did ruin lunch for you, which
was not good.

we once had a gourmet group and one of the girls tossed her salad with the milk she
brought for her dessert recipe instead of the salad dressing which was also white.
we still laff about that to this day and it was years and years ago.  whenever anything
tastes off we tease her about it.

Actually, I threw it all into a collander (used to rinse perm rods) and washed it off. Lost most of the chopped egg and some of the cheese, but at least I had something. Maybe I'll just take the bottle of dressing to work?
