Eileen it is awful how long they made you wait for that appointment.They don't seem to be too on the ball there.

Hope you all have a good day. I am doing alright. I have a doctor appointment this afternoon so I guess I will have to leave the house.

hi all....i'm at work so only a quickie
commisserating with all y'all and agreeing with candy about laureen's reflections-eileen i think i would have lost it !

so- i just lost a game that i didn't even get to play yet- i should be fine with it but i'm not! wow!!!!!!so i guess that i could care less what day of the week it is-connie-this is where i say arrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhh----oh wow--i'm rambling.............

except that i have tomorrow off- no pay tho- poo!sucks to be part time but i'm ok-i AM working!

tonite my taxi is taking me to grocery shop! whooooooooo hoooooooo! i need to buy some cheese to go with my wine-

seriously- i've been having some sugar lows lately and they are not fun.......wth???????

Sorry you had such a frustrating Tuesday, lets hope today's going better.

Today, I've made a Turkey Barley soup with snap peas and carrots.   Yummmmm!   I love the cooler weather!    Had my piano lesson yesterday & found I had a couple of the rhythmic patterns wrong - rhythm is not my strong suit - so today I'm re-learning those sections.   I plan to go see Mom this afternoon.  I called this a.m. & they said she was doing fine, so I'm getting things done around the house while the soup simmers.

That's interesting, Jan, about rhythmic patterns....I have an adult student who has the same problem, especially if there are more than two of the same note in a measure.  If it is all different notes, she can play it perfectly.  She struggles but so wants to learn to play, and we're giving it our best shot!   Thank God I have lots of patience.

Here's something news worthy......I got a member request for Debbie Doty from OH to join my support group!  WTH, she doesn't live in Sturgis??   Sorry but I deleted it -- and I don't care if she reads this message -- she doesn't need to be part of my support group so she can snoop!

Orthopedic dr. appt got cancelled today -- when I got there for my appt. he was in surgery....she asked me if I wanted to wait -- and I not so politely told her nope!  Rescheduled for tomorrow.  Got my new glasses at Walmart this afternoon.  Had a girl who knew nothing about fitting them -- so they don't fit at all.  Will go back tomorrow and ask for someone else to fit them.  My day has been one dissappointment after another.

Better go get some cheese to have with my whine....

Can we just have a whine and cheese party? What's with the doctors that don't bother to schedule properly? The woman who checked me out said every Tuesday and Wednesday is like that. Why? Can't they figure out how to schedule? It's as bad as Ortho doc No. 2 in Grand Rapids.

pat- who IS this debbie doty? and where DOES she live? maybe she has no other local support group? this was something that deb and i worked very hard to battle when we ran a group--living where we did, many of us were not geographically close to our drs groups....and NOT having any support can hurt- we all know that!
