It is Monday...that is about all I have to say about that!
I have a busy work day....will do my best to get through it. This depression really has a hold on me!!

Hi Margo and my OFF family:
Bright and sunny down here in Louisiana, although cooler than normal but I like it. More like autumn. Actually saw a few leaves change colors.
I have an appointment this morning with the new therapist/psychologist. My days off are split this week ... I'm off on Monday and Friday (the good thing is I won't have to work Friday night football ... Opelousas doesn't publish Saturday, so they don't need me). I did Opelousas sports last night and it was very low stress. It's only about a page and a half. No scoreboard section, so no agate. Then I did a page for the Lafayette paper.
I heard from a former coworker in Grand Rapids who was laid off when I was ... he got a job finally as editor of a travel magazine in Holland, Mich. He needed to stay in Michigan because his wife had a good job there (they had moved for his job the last time so they had to stay for her job this time ... good compromise). I was so happy to hear about his success. He was sending me job prospects when I was unemployed (we were helping each other). He was much more upbeat and optimistic than I was during the laid-off prospect, but then he could get his wife's insurance and stockpile his severance pay and live off her salary ... I didn't have that luxury. But anyway, I'm glad he got a new job.
Well, not much else ... I need to get in the shower soon and get ready for my appointment. Have a good day.

I'm fighting a cold for the past few days. I think I may be on the losing end of the battle. I can actually be sure exactly when I was exposed. A client at one of my volunteer jobs sat across the desk from me and proceeded to cough continuously in my face for a full ten minutes, mouth wide open and uncovered, despite my repeated attempts to offer her a tissue to cover her mouth (and her ignoring me). I finally slapped the box of tissues in front of her and told her to cover her mouth. She seemed surprised, like it was a foreign concept. Years of working in corrections and I never got a cold from an inmate. I have one now, and it's turning into a doozy.
Next time I won't be so polite. I'll take the damned tissues out of the box and hand them to her.
My day consists of coughing, sinus headache, soup and more coughing. And back to bed. Now.
Other than that, things are going well. No appetite, and everything that I do eat tastes like poo, so maybe I'll lose a few pounds.

Right now I probably LOOK like a cartoon character....Rednose, uncombed hair, and breathing heavily through my nose. Oh, did I mention I'm losing my voice from all the coughing? I probably sound like a cartoon character, too. Soon I expect it to be completely gone.
My exes would have loved the voice thing. All they really wanted was peace and quiet.....

I have not been sleeping well (I wonder why not?) and today am really feeling very overwhelmed with all that needs to be done and the lack of finances to do some of it. EEEKS! that's me screaming! LOL
otherwise, I am fine for having been awake since 3am! I was talking to a friend yesterday and she suggested selling as much stuff as I can before I move. I think that will be the ticket. I will hold a moving sale after I get the house cleaned up and what I am taking in one room, what I want to sell in another room. Serve cookies and coffee/tea what ever. And even though I will not get anywheres near what I owe on it think I will put the house up for sale. I know it will take a while and with the pension I can take the time. If I have extra money at times, I will do some simple upgrades, like carpet or something like that. we'll see. So much to do!

Good morning. I'm a newcomer to this forum...but my angel Debbiejean often hangs here. 
I had a great weekend - Saturday had a Christmas Cards making day. Only my DIL showed but that's okay...she made her first cards!
I made 12 cards, sorted through my card piles, addressed 20 cards to send to the troops for Christmas.
Sunday we went to church, Veteran's lunch after church, then a Veteran's service! Awesome! My DS, DIL and GBs came over in the afternoon, had chili for supper and then helped GD with her "turkey" using crafting supplies. Had a blast!
I am struggling with hibernation...want to eat, especially at night, want to go to bed as soon as it's dark. Not a good thing! Yikes! Having seasonal disorder doesn't help any either.
A little about me...I had RYN with Dr. Versemans 10/7/09. I am down 105 pounds and have totally plateaued.
I am amazed though that I have dropped from 30/32 to 16/18! Yippee! It's been a LONG time since I have been that small! I had some issues right out of surgery; had to have transfusion in the hospital before even leaving. Got the flu one month out, then terrible sinusitis for three weeks right after that! Have been doing well since then though...sure still have bouts of sinusitis yet and had a cold but doing well over all. Iron is low as well as Vit.D so increased both of those.
I find that I am cold all the time. I told my DH I was cold BEFORE I lost 100 pounds...what am I gonna do now?!?!?!

Good Morning All,
I know I'm at the tail end... I wrote so much yesterday at the tail end... I guess I was processing my feelings about Bev and all. Today my Mom is coming and I'm driving us to Antioch, my home town. My Mom's friend lost her husband and the viewing is tonight. We will meet my brother and his wife and go to an early dinner somewhere first. That's it... oh, and I'll finally get to see my brother's new lab puppy- which has already grown to over 50 pounds! I can't wait to get both our labs together to play! Not today though.... probably on Thanksgiving at my house. There may be mud involved, depending on the weather... :) We have stone floors (remember my fall?) so mud can be mopped up quite easily. We'll block them from the carpeted rooms.
That's it for today... need to get cracking!

This week is rolling by!!!!! I worked 12 hours yesterday and was I beat. Today I am off...Going to clean my car so 2 people can ride in it.....
Just got back from going to BJ's and had lunch at Sweet Tomatoes then strolled the mall for alittle bit.
My little Bentley Chiwauwau is being a goodlittle boy. He loves his back yard!!!!! Likes to roll into a ball and sleep in ones lap!!!!!
I am flying to Denver on Sunday to go and see the neurologist. But airfare has gone way up.....I got the ticket on the 29th of last month and paid a little over 300.00 for it. I have never paid that much to go to Denver!!!!!
Well It is beautiful here about 78 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. You can all keep your snow up in the Northland!!!!!
