OT: Need your prayers

Oh Bev, I am so sorry to hear of this news!  Keep your thoughts positive. Don't hesitate to ask for help when you need it. And if people offer their help, take them up on it. It is so much harder to do this alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you! I believe that prayers DO help. 

A couple of places that may be of help:

www.cleaningforareason.org  They will come clean your house I think once a month while you are undergoing treatment and just can't do it yourself. Your oncologist has to fax them a statement saying you are undergoing treatment. 1-877-337-3348. Fax - 972-767-5198

Also: American Cancer Society Road to Recovery. 1-800-227-2345. They will find a volunteer in your area to drive you to and from treatments if you need them.

And don't forget the Hope Lodge if you have one in your area. It is also run by the ACS and provides a place for you to stay if you have to have your treatments away from home. The one I stayed at was amazing!

All of these things are free of charge and one of the reasons we should all support these kinds of causes!

Thank you so much for all the helpful contacts.  I copied and pasted your post into a Word doc for future reference.  My husband got choked up reading your post.  So many are coming forward with touching offers of help.  My co-worker said his wife, a doctor, will get me into treatment at her hospital that has all the most advanced cancer treatments.  All I need is for my oncologist to fax the order.  Can you imagine?  Your kindness is overwhelming.  Thank you doesn't seem like enough.

I am so so sorry...  I am mainly a lurker on here, but I am a PRAYER WARRIOR... I will pray for you each day .  Prayer is so powerful and God can heal anything and anyone if it is his will. He certainly did me in 2003 when I was given a 0 chance of making it.
I would love to send you something in the mail and if you will add me as a friend and tell me how it will be on its way to you ...
