Happy November 1st 2010
Good Morning everyone,
I havent posted in a long time!!!! Been busy working my fingers to the bone and dealing with a new dog. I got a new 4 yr old Chiwauwau to be friend with my Tevia even though he hates theidea of another furry friend in the house. My new fur baby is named Get this Bentley Norman Klein he is a brindle little boy and is very demanding!!!!!
Work has been crazy working 40 to 50 hours a week and some!!!!! Makes for a nice paycheck!!!!!
With everyone having things to think about my prayers are with all of you.
Carl is fine and getting used to being home with me!!!!!
My next trip is going to be November 14th with a flight to Denver to see my friend who is very sick and have girl time with my best buddies from when I lived there. I have been there in 9 months so It is time to go.
Well my eyes are getting tired and Post on whatever is on your mind.

We had a busy weekend. Got about 8 cords of wood cut & stacked Saturday. Both of our boys, my SIL, & 2 of my sons friends.
Has a great meal too. Venison steak, chichen, homemade bread, homemade applesauce & asparagus cheese cassarole. Now I am having a hard time moving

got plenty of sleep last nite but wanna go cover my head and hide! can't call off- too grateful of the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and nothing "wrong"!!!!!!! (...thank you , God, for that!!!)
chico (michael's blue and gold) is making "those noises" again...just starting but i know what will follow.....and i can't do anything for him......sure don't want him to die on MY watch......
well- had a long talk with my maintenance person and my chamber maid and my kitchen help---seems that nothing was getting done around here- the maintenance person got all but 1 storm window up yesterday(the remaining one needs to be custom cut to fit a half window)--the chamber maid dragged 3 totes of fall/winter clothes in- swapped out the contents for spring/summer and schlepped the totes back to the shed--my kitchen help burned trash and tried to straighten;kept getting called away to other tasks; and still hasn't washed dishes! tonite's dinner doesn't hold a lot of promise, either! guess that's what i get for living alone, eh?!!!!!!!!! me myself and i had better get our act together!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Carla, Jan, Margo and all OFF...
I broke down yesterday and bought candy for the trick-or-treaters. I decided I didn't want to do that earlier, cause I get so few. But then I felt bad...well not as bad as I do now!!! NO ONE LITTLE BUGGER CAME TO THE DOOR !!!! So at least I have a 24 year old some who loves the candy I bought ..he can eat it. After my test for hypoglycemia...chocolate is NOT my favorite flavor.
Busy day at school today and its cold here. I'm not sure I'm ready for it..but, too bad for me.

Good morning Carla and OFF family...Carla hopefully you are sleeping now!
My mother in law died Saturday afternoon. I had a peaceful visit alone with her on Friday, sang her 2 favorite hymns and talked about how wonderful her new life in heaven will be. She was fighting, comatose and I just did my thing, which is to tell her it's okay to die, she did a great job raising 6 wonderful kids and was a great grandma. I told her our unborn future granddaughter would know all about her great grandma and that she wouldn't be forgotten. Always in our hearts. Forever. She settled down after that and me giving her a whole light body massage.
Oh yeah...mom is now having a blast in heaven!
On a lighter note, life is wonderful I'm finally feeling like the old Debbie Jean. I went to a rowing class on Friday after work. OMG!!!!!! It was great, I had Erin who instructed us and learning the proper techniques of using this machine. Then my BF and I stayed for the whole 1/2 hour rowing class. My legs were like noodles people. This is even better than spin class. I ached the next day but it was a good ache. Today I will do water aerobics, get there and work out in the pool for 30 minutes before class, using weights and jogging in the pool, walking lunges, stretches.
I also meet with my Eating Coach at noon. It's good for me to go to her classes and it's almost one on one since there is only 4 of us in the class.

My condolances on you and your family's loss. . .but also I rejoice for your mother in law's wonderful journey through life. A person who is loved by as many as she was has much to rejoice about. Both times soon after my mother and father passed away we found out a new life would enter our "circle." That helped me so much to feel that "Lion King thing" of the Circle of Life. Loved ones may be gone from this life but gone also from the suffering that so often accompanies the final journey. Never gone from our memories! Take care,

What a wonderful gift you gave your MIL --- the gift of acceptance and understanding. It is so wonderful! I hope when the time comes I'll be able to do the same.
How different we all are: it seems you are jumping right back into your activites, which I'm sure is very good for you. Whenever I go thru something emotional & stressful, I seem to pull into myself & do nothing physical, while I allow my mind to go in circles and drive me crazy. I know I must fight this & get my body moving. Exercise does help us deal with stress.
You're so right about the circle of life. The birth of a new child makes it all worthwhile.

Jan, isn't having children in our lives wonderful. My SD called me this morning the one who is having the baby around Christmas. She was crying, all those hormones changing and dealing with life and death. She is my tender hearted one who is such a love for others. We had a nice long talk and I just let her cry.
We all deal with stress differently, I have to stay busy and just keep on keeping on.
When someone is dying that is fighting to live and you witness the change in their condition right before your very eyes...to see the acceptance in their body and to finally relax and let God lead them home...to give permission to die is sometimes what they need to hear.
I will be busy picking out the right hymns for mom's celebration of life. I will be singing On Eagle's Wings and How Great Thou Art for sure. I love music, it gives me peace and I love to minister to others.
...Now....just get the last of that Halloween candy out of my house!! LOL God Bless. Debbie
