Also  aussie recipes call for Beef/pork mince   is mince a way of saying ground meat?

My stepdad   has decided  I need to make him some recipes  he tasted at a friends house.  Friend is from Australia.   He got the name of the dishes and left me to find the recipes and such!!       Thats ok   I just had those 2 Questions.  Thank!!!

Hi Jo

At last I can be of use!

I just did a google search on butternut squash and yes it is the same as butternut pumpkin.

And your guess is correct.  Mince is the equivalent of your ground meat.

Just for interest, what are the recipes?

Jules,

Your contribution is very simply who you are, but I understand about wanting to be of use, which is why I started posting my daily reflections. . .
