Saw my WLS surgeon today......
He was very happy with me. All of my number are perfect. He said he can tell I am consistantly taking my vitamins and calcium and eating my protein. I may do somethings wrong but I really do that right!!
I was afraid to see him because of my weight gain. He said I was 20 over my lowest goal. He would like to see me lose some of it if I can. Overall he is very happy.
What a relief to have that over for another year!!!!
Now to try to get this weight off. I know I will feel so much better!
Thanks as always for the support!!

Connie...
WAY to go girlfriend. I love my WLS surgeon, but like you I'm always terrified of seeing him. Like he is going to lecture me on you've lost too much or you gained 5 pounds. Do what you feel is right...
I'm happy for you Connie. Stick to what you know. Those extra pounds will come off if you want them too.
My endo is over..they found nothing, did some biopsies..won't know till next week. Same old tummy trouble and they still don't know why!!! I guess thats why they are "still practicing" medicine, cause they can't get it right !!!!

So have a good weekend and hugs.

I questioned that with my surgeon, gastro dr. and my PCP...they did a blood test for celiacs disease..came back negative. My gastro is thinking IBS...but the meds they try don't help. He is really worried that its a plugged bile duct or just problems with adhesions. My surgeon likes to blame it all on dumping and reactive hypoglycemia.
Myself I'm trying to eat gluten free to see if it helps...so far only gas X helps and I've surely been eating lots of them.
Thanks for the suggestion tho..if you think of others let me know.
Hugs..Marcy
Hi Connie,
That's wonderful news and you are always an inspiration. I know you use the tools you've been given. I watch/read everything I can that is weight-related and a week or so I heard that the #1 way people are able to maintain weight loss is 1-hour moderate exercise at least 4 times a week.
Congratulations and I'm sure next year you'll be back here posting positive results with your labs and weight!!
