Saw my WLS surgeon today......

He was very happy with me. All of my number are perfect. He said he can tell I am consistantly taking my vitamins and calcium and eating my protein. I may do somethings wrong but I really do that right!!

I was afraid to see him because of my weight gain.  He said I was 20 over my lowest goal. He would like to see me lose some of it if I can. Overall he is very happy.

What a relief to have that over for another year!!!!

Now to try to get this weight off. I know I will feel so much better!

Thanks as always for the support!!

 Connie...
WAY to go girlfriend.  I love my WLS surgeon, but like you I'm always terrified of seeing him.  Like he is going to lecture me on you've lost too much or you gained 5 pounds.  Do what you feel is right...

I'm happy for you Connie.  Stick to what you know.  Those extra pounds will come off if you want them too.

My endo is over..they found nothing, did some biopsies..won't know till next week.  Same old tummy trouble and they still don't know why!!!  I guess thats why they are "still practicing" medicine, cause they can't get it right !!!!

So have a good weekend and hugs.

Marcy...thank you so much!!

Do you think you are Gluten Intolerant?? Sounds like you are having some of the same problems that my daughter was having. That is what they decided was wrong with her. She is eating Gluten free and is already feeling so much better. Just a thought.

I questioned that with my surgeon, gastro dr. and my PCP...they did a blood test for celiacs disease..came back negative.  My gastro is thinking IBS...but the meds they try don't help.  He is really worried that its a plugged bile duct or just problems with adhesions.  My surgeon likes to blame it all on dumping and reactive hypoglycemia.
Myself I'm trying to eat gluten free to see if it helps...so far only gas X helps and I've surely been eating lots of them.

Thanks for the suggestion tho..if you think of others let me know.

Great job, Connie!!!!    It can actually be a joy to see a doctor when there is reason to celebrate together!    What a change from the days when we had to see a doctor & prayed they'd forget to ask us to step on the scale!   You've come a long way, Baby!

Connie,

Perfect numbers = Well Done Good for you Sweety.

Those darned scales will haunt us forever. Doesn't matter if the numbers go up, down or stay the same.

Warm hugs

Annette...you are such a wonderful friend..thank you!

I may have too many carbs and things but one thing I always do right are my vitamins and calcium and such. I haven't had a problem with my numbers and I am proud of that!

Hi Connie,

That's wonderful news and you are always an inspiration. I know you use the tools you've been given. I watch/read everything I can that is weight-related and a week or so I heard that the #1 way people are able to maintain weight loss is 1-hour moderate exercise at least 4 times a week.

Congratulations and I'm sure next year you'll be back here posting positive results with your labs and weight!!

Thank you Kathie....you are just so sweet.
I agree....exercise is very important...since I broke my hip a year ago my body hasn't been the same...still so much pain...this June I had ther rod and pin removed...it is harder and harder to do any kind of exercise.

Thank you for the suport!!!

Hugs....connie d
