It's quiet right here now at work, very peaceful...but it will pick up later for sure.
Going to rowing class tonight to be instructed on how to row then they have a rowing class for half hour after. I will get to the gym and work my butt off today!

Went to see MIL yesterday and she really is going down hill fast. Thanks for all the prayers. I told mom there are a lot of people praying for her, just not the people in her church. She was semi-comatose yesterday, no response except I knew she heard me.

  Made it into Fort Smith to Eddie's dentist appointment without any problems.  It is behind the mall so while I was waiting I went into Sears to look at the Shark vac then steam for hard floors.  I liked it but it was $30. more than the listed price at Target so I told the salesman thank you but I'll drive across town to save the money.  He sold it to me at their price.  Then I really got brave and drove a few stoplights down Rogers to Hobby Lobby and picked up some glass beads for bracelet making that were on sale at 1/2 price.  All in all a good trip.  On the way home, we stopped at the State Troopers and picked up a study guide for Eddie to take his driving test.  My husband took me to WalMart when he got off work and we got some stuff to repot some of my plants I had to move inside.  I don't know where I'm going to put them all.  I don't face the right way to take full advantage of the sunlight.  I'll figure it out somehow.  Ya'll have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend.

Good morning Debbie and the gang

Nothing much going on with me except busy busy busy.  I need to take a trip to Louisiana mid-week and I am in the middle of cleaning stuff.  Wednesday I culled all my cookbooks and I have two large totes for the library, a couple for a friend, and about 10 for another friend.  That straightens out one corner of my office.  Now I have to clean out all the cabinets so I can get the "stuff"  that's on the counter put away.  I was supposed to do that yesterday but instead got involved cleaning my etegere (never could spell that word)  ya know the glass front cabinet that holds all the useless things that collect dust.  I got it cleaned but now after rearranging it I have a few things left over that is sitting on my kitchen counter.  I just seem to shuffle stuff around.  I'm really am trying to get rid of things.  Hopefully I'll have my office organied by Monday so I can get ready to leave late Tuesday or early Wednesday to check on my mom.

Seems like a lot of you have hit winter or at least fall.  Last night I went to choir practice

We were supposed to have a front come in guess it decided to go elswhere.

Good morning Debbie and everyone....

I need to get ready for my appointment with my weigh loss surgeon in just a bit. My three year Surgiversary was August 29th....so I am a bit overdue. I am making myself go. I know he will be happy with my numbers as everything is right where it should be. The weight I gained will be another issue. Wish me luck!!!

Wow, lots of news today. My news is ... next week I'll be out of sports hell! The new guy from Michigan rolled in to town last night and starts Nov. 9, so I move off sports and onto the Lafayette team, doing more news (maybe a sports page or two ... but not all sports, what I was supposed to be doing, what I was promised). I wanted to throw a parade.

I got in at 3 p.m. yesterday and found we had a later deadline ... great, here early and nothing to do. Well, I proofed pages and figured I'd just come in late on Sunday, because there's nothing to do early on Sunday.

Well, it's payday and I have to get out and get to the bank and do errands. Have a good day.

Hi everyone,
We have a lot of early birds in this group. I am so glad the week is done. It has been a crazy week. My DH and I bought a new pickup. Our old Ford is 18 years old and it was time to get a new ride. I hope this new Ford will last as long. I am having a time getting used to the new bells and whistles. My old pickup had an am-fm radio and cassette. The new pickup has cd, ipod, satellite and plug ins galore. This weekend we are celebrating my grandaughter's eleventh birthday. Does anyone have any big plans for halloween? I usually get quite a few kids. I will give out all the candy I bought. I bought candy I don't like so I won't be tempted to eat it.
