OT: New Briesch family addition
Finally ... Alexander Glenn Briesch arrived in the world this morning at 7:11 a.m. He was late ... he takes after my brother's ex-wife's side of the family (they're always late!). He was supposed to be here on 10-10-10, but well, here he is on 10-27-10 and was he a big one! No wonder he was late, he was still growing! He came in at 10 lbs., 1 oz. Mother Jill, who planned to do everything naturally, had to have him by C-section. Father Christopher (who prefers to be called Chris, but then his mother always insisted his name was Christopher ... just as Chris is insisting the baby be called Alexander, not Alex) ... hasn't uploaded photos yet.
This is my third great-nephew ... not the biggest one, either ... Ben Schultz was nearly 13 pounds at birth and 10 years later, comes up to my shoulders.
When I get a photo, I'll show everyone.

New life is always wonderful. . . congrats. . . and at 10 lbs, good thing she had a c-section . . . ouchie. ..
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

My brother Gary, the new Grandpa, tells me Ben was 9 pounds something ... I guess I've made him bigger over time ... but then he says it's not a contest, which that's true. He still is a big kid. When he was a baby, Gary's wife (and now ex) was calling him Bubba ... it would have been a good name for a lineman or linebacker for the Bears ... Bubba Schultz.
