Yesterday was a busy busy day. Health club, errands and chorale rehearsal so, today I am staying home. Boring stuff like cleaning and laundry and catching up on booking of the household accounts. Trying to keep up so as not to have a huge task at the end of the year. Taxes ya know. As they say nothing in life is certain except taxes and death.

Hi Pat and my OFF family:
I had a do-nothing (mostly) day yesterday. I did clear off the kitchen counter somewhat and load the dishwasher ... it's nearly loaded now so I will have to do dishes today. Then I bagged up newspapers and other crap in my basket and took out the garbage ... that was the extent of my activity. When I was out, I got some Chinese food with the last of my money for the week. On the way back, stopped at the post office to drop off a couple letters. Later, I tried to set up my printer ... and of course, I had problems. I will have to get connected with HP support again ... it has never worked properly and if they don't get it to work again, I want a new printer. Now it's not even printing ... paper goes through but no ink comes out. Aaarrrgh!
So today will be laundry and I would like to get some stuff up on the wall ... but I woke up with a headache. It's cloudy out and humid, so I know why I feel miserable ... we're supposed to get rain. I had problems sleeping last night ... fell asleep at 12:30 and got up at nearly 1 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. So I got up and read for nearly an hour and a half. I finally got to sleep at about 3 ... slept soundly til nearly 11 and woke up with Juliette at my side. She's getting braver.
Karen, your trip sounds fascinating. We want more details when you get a chance.
