I'm eating, how about you? Monday
Good morning one and all,
Debbie asked if we were engaged in eating. Well, yesterday I was not only engaged but married as well. Golly.....at the end of the day I just gave up even trying to keep track of what I ate and decided that today is another day. GRRRRRRRRR. I hate that feeling of being out of control.
We went to a charity function that was like a taste of the town sort of thing. Well, I ate my way through Little Rock and didn't even leave the Convention Center. Honestly, I can't list all I grazed on, so I won't beat myself up trying to account for it.
There you go. Monday is always a good day to start over. I'm calling the hypnotherapist today to make an appointment. This nonsense has to come to a screeching halt NOW!!!

Decision Point: Why Do I Eat?
I'm hungry all the time
I am never hungry
I can't tell when I am hungry
I am starving by the time I eat, so I'll eat anything I can get my hands on
I eat by the clock
Okay you were out having fun and ate. Today stay in the moment....Mindfulness happens in the present moment.
Sunday I ate:
small piece of coffee cake
2 eggs, 2 pieces of WW toast
1 piece of leftover pizza...could have done better but by then I wanted the kitchen sink!
Honey crisp apple
Went out to eat after watching MIL....very hungry went to the Texas Corral, never been there, very large food portions....here's what happened:
they brought bread rolls with the Cinnamon butter, ate one....yummy but now pretty full.Sigh...
shared a "blooming onion thing" had about 3 bites...getting more full....
small salad...ate about 3 bites....Okay not gonna be able to eat my dinner now....
OMG!!! They brought me country fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes, told the waitress to just bring a container cuz I wasn't taking one more bite! LOL She smiles and said "yeah those bread rolls are delish aren't they, fill ya right up"
So during the football game ate about 3 oz of chicken and 2 T mashed potatoes.
Yeah...Susan, it's another day with 250 food choices we make though out the day. It can drive you crazy for sure.
Most important for all of us, don't beat ourselves up about food, choices. It's life and we have to move on. We do have to exercise. The weight will come off in time. Do what works for you. You know your own selves the best, what kind of eating you do, what challenges lie ahead for you especially with the holidays. We do have to stay of top of our eating for the rest of our lives otherwise that weight will start climbing upwards and on to our hips!
I go see my Eating Coach at noon, I'm sipping on my Atkins shake and have added decaf coffee with lots of ice, it's my latte! I like it and right now I'm not hungry.
Yeah Susan, I'm with you girlfriend, it's a whole new week. If hypnotherapy works for you go for it. I think that's better than diet pills. It's amazing how many people are back on diet pills post op Bariatrics.

Sigh...me too Susan! I should have just drank some water and waited for my main meal.
I'm getting a handle and eating and just praciticing Mindful Eating. I don't weigh myself only once in awhile, just never have...weighed myself at the gym and I'm down 8 pounds so mindful eating and going to see Kristi my Eating Coach is helping. It's working for me!

Morning Susan...oh how I can releate to those eating binges!!! When I come across foods that taste good, I want to eat eat eat!!! But today IS another day and you CAN start over!! I am suffering with a cold and I feel miserable enough to kill the person that gave it to me if i ever find them!!! LOL Any how here is what I had yesterday to eat.
B. Hot tea and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese
L. Left over enchalada and toastada from night before
D. Whopper Junior and a handful of chips.
I drink alot of water everyday also.
So that is what I had all day. Some good some not so good. But I did eat breakfast...:-)
Good afternoon OH friends!! It's beautiful sunny day here in the Outer Banks but according to the weather news, it's gonna rain tonight & tomorrow. Well, I almost washed my car yesterday....maybe it'll get a good rinsing with this rain.
Yesterday's eats were very controlled, especially after Friday & Saturday!! My DH & I attended a wedding rehersal dinner Friday night and the wedding on Saturday. My goodness at the food!!! Food, food and MORE food. I'll confess that I endulged in 1/2 slice of cake at both events. My DH had RNY surgery on 8/30 and he was too afraid to touch any cake. He's dumped once and says he'll do his best to never do that again!! Anyway, yesterday I paid for my endulgences!!! Tummy pain & miserable all day. Also had blood sugars all out of whack!!
Yesterday's eats were:
B: Coffee & meds
S: Banana & 1 oz peanuts
L: Nothing
S: 1/2 oz. almonds
D: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans
S: coffee, almonds
