Good morning one and all, welcome to the weekend! It's soooooooooooo wonderful to see so many new people joining our crew. I hope that you find the accountability here helps. As time permits I try to respond to your posts, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. BUT, don't think that I'm no****ching....lol

home made stromboli made with thin pizza crust, turkey pepperoni and 2% cheese---yummo!
applesauce w/ cottage cheese
chicken papkrish, few noodles
applesauce/ LF granola
Not a bad day. Very busy at work today, so we'll see how it goes.

I hardly had time to read or post much yesterday. Reading about beans soup, cold temps here, motivated me to put on a pot of bean soup. Smelled comforting simmering on the stove.

Yup, smelling the soup was great but I didn't want to EAT any. Go figure.

As usual, my bean soup outgrew the crockpot I was using, so I had to move up a size to the big one. WHEN will I learn to cook in smaller quantities ????? Now I again have three big containers for the freezer, as well as the two I have in the fridge for the upcoming days. I had a good start on emptying the freezer, but seem to be going backwards lately...
At least the things I cook in quantity are the healthy things, so I always have something to go to in a pinch.
Won't be able to eat any today, as there are social obligations coming up.

Going to be a busy weekend. Going to vote this morning then head out to Galveston for some R&R. Tomorrow church and opera. Going to see Madame Butterfly. Have seen it numerous times but every opera house does it every few years. I wasn't going to buy tickets for it or Marriage of Figaro but it was cheaper to buy the 6 opera season than to buy 4 individually.

D- lite cheese, Stacey's simply naked pita chips, peach
My weekly weigh in was yesterday and I maintained last week's weight. Hope to drop a couple by this Friday.
