Howdy crew, how's 'bout you?

Well, it seems things are back to normal after a few days off. Routine may be boring for some, but I think it's the one thing that keeps us going. If it aint broke, don't fix it. If it is....FIX IT!

Yesterday:

bkfst sandwich
lunch out with hubby....two taquitos, 8 chips w/ salsa
honey crisp apple......probably the BEST apple I've ever tasted!

chicken paprikish, noodles, asparagus
applesauce/LF granola

Still working on de-carb-ing from my vacation...

I made up a crock pot of bean soup, which is filling the house with an amazing aroma.  I have no major plans for the weekend, so can eat the soup as much as I want.

Like I said about the aroma.....

Bean-O, take me away!!!

Hi Susan! I think you will like what I had yesterday alot better!!

B. Bacon, tomato on toast and coffee

L. Chicken, Cole slaw

D. Bacon, Scrambled eggs

S. Cookie

See I did alot better yesterday than the day before :-) it goes in streaks how I eat. Good one day and bad the next...but it seems to equal out I guess. ;-) I have this craving for some sweedish meatballs and noodles. Rick said his grandma made them so much he hates that. But I want it so maybe I can make a small amount and have it just for me. HaHa

Some of the frozen Swedish Meatball dishes are pretty darned good. Not as great as home made, but if it's just you, why not?

Good morning everyone!!  Not sure if my brain can remember what I had yesterday but I'll give it a try.  Today, however is busy so not sure how it'll end up food wise.  DH has his 2 month follow-up with our surgeon today in VA, then we come back hopefully in time for a wedding rehersal dinner at a nice seafood restaurant.  He & I have already discussed our dinner order. We're ordering baked fish with salad and baked sweet potato and we're sharing one plate.  When we go out to eat we just order one meal and share.  Sure saves money!!  Anyway, yesterday's menu:
B-scrambled egg with cheese & bacon
S-Banana
L-cheese stick & peanuts
S-Honey crisp apple
D-Baked fish & mixed vegetables
S-Protein

OK, I think that's it.  Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed day!!  TGIF!!

Hi Susan,
Yesterday:
B - English Muffin with TBS peanut butter, half a peeled apple.
L - Healthy Choice Chicken Somethin'
S - Grapes and Peaches
D - 1/2 Home fried chicken breast, no skin or bones. Salad with cottage cheese. Zucchini in tomato sauce.
S - 2 glasses of chocolate milk

I'm staying within my calorie and protein range which is very good. Not really having any cravings lately. I had a spell there where I had to have chocolate every day. I'm glad that's gone. Lots of stressors at work in my life but they seem to have made me not want to eat instead of stuff it in. That's good too. One good thing is that I've gotten back to planning the next day's food. It's better when I'm not leaving myself at the mercy of where I can get food and what kind is available.
Thanks,
Bev
