Good morning one and all!  I'm sooooooooooooooo happy to see more people posting here. It's less lonely and the boat's so much easier to row with more on board.



Yesterday:

turkey bkfst sausage w/ eggbeaters and mini bagel
healthy choice chicken verde (very good BTW)
crock pot chicken w/ veggies
applesauce w/ LF granola

So?  How's bout you?

Well I am finding myself not eating alot now so have to stop and think if I did eat...sooooo what did I eat yesterday?

B. coffee

L. Beef Stew

D. Chicken

So far today I had coffee and I was hungry for a bacon and tomato sandwich...made one and ate half. I am so stuffed now! Dr put me on Topamax to help me lose some weight and its working...nothing tastes good to me so I don't eat. I do drink my water so that is good. If its a sweet tasting drink...ewwww I can't do it anymore. I used to love FUSE but not anymore...yuck!! I don't even drink pop anymore. I do drink tea, cold or hot. And coffee always hot but then at times its also ewww to me!! Now aren't you glad I am posting here? :-) Any ideas for me to get some better food in? Far as I know I am doing ok in blood work. I feel great with the weight loss since being on this medication. (lost what I gained since moving to ohio...about 25 pounds) Drinking protein drinks or eating protein bars gives me the runs now so that is out.

Hey Judy,

I'm so happy that you're posting again, and posting on this tread, too!  Just for my own sake, I googled Topamax to see what it was. It was developed for migraine headaches. Didn't know that it had the side effect of decreased appetite. What ever works, right?

All I have to say about what you're eating is that you really, really need to find something to eat for breakfast. Coffee doesn't count, sorry to say (and you know I'm ALL about my coffee....lol). Anyway, bkfst doesn't have to necessarily have to be "breakfast" food, just as long as you give your engine some fuel to get going.

HAHA well I can't promise I will be on OFF every day but I will be here when I can I promise! :-)

My pain dr told me that topamax was used for many different things and controling the appitite was one of them...I LOL at him. So many dr's told me that so many pills did that and none ever did...til this one!! WOOHOO!!!

Any how like I said nothing tastes good to me any more so I don't eat much. I do eat at breakfast. Just not always. Sorry. I know I am bad...but I do eat through the day to make up for it I guess. I don't even sit and eat a whole bag of chips anymore like I used to...OMG!!!! Yes I used to eat almost a whole bag of chips again!!! BAD JUDY!!!! Glad that those taste awful!!! ;-) So I do eat good foods again and once in awhile I do eat a bad food...but then I wouldn't be normal now would I? haha

D-roast beef w/ carrots

S-sausage (Smoked Mozzarella w/ Artichoke and Garlic)
   5 grams of fat but 16 grams of protein)

Susan....I had to try that sausage....saw it at the grocery store and had to get it. It is sooooo darn good....oh my!!

I try not to eat sausage a lot because of the fat...I know it isn't the best for me. The brand is Bristo Sensations. They are chicken not pork.

A little after 3 pm and I just finished breakfast. Too much crap happening and my belly is revolting. Headed for the gym to work off some tension. or just soak in the hot tub. maybe a little of both.

B - cottage cheese, berries, Kashi
D - Tom pulled steaks from the freezer. Doesn't sound so great, we'll see
S - apple & PB

I am behind in water and coffee. Maybe that explains the headache?

I am WAY ahead in complaining though.

Hi Susan and fellow crew mates...rowing and rowing and staying afloat!
Yesterday was unplanned events at work and Halloween candy to contend with at the Benefit Fair at work which I was there all day.
Sigh...here goes but I will do better!
Activia Light Yogurt
small Reese's PB cup...the tiny one and I threw the rest of the candy in the break room for others to eat...but I went back and got the "fun size" m&m treat...damn!! LOL
Apple with 2 T PB
6 baked chicken wings
mini bag of popcorn...again from the Benefit Fair
water, water and more water
4 double stuffed cookies EL Fudge...okay then I went for a little walk but not far enough to get those extra calories off.
Stouffer's french bread pizza 1 piece

Gotta detox my body of sugars and I will do this. The holidays are coming up. My skinny friend across the hall was complaining that she was 131 and likes to be at 113 and she is back to drinking protein shakes to get her weight off. She is mindful of her weight always...that is why she stays so small. I totally understand thin woman paying attention to their weight/size. I never did that ever. Now I do. Now I just want to get control of stopping the carbs/sugar madness and move on with contentment in my life. Will I ever be a size 8 again??? You bet you sweet patootie I'll eventually get there! LOL
