I hope she doesn't mind. . . I had a recent email from Jeannie after I had sent her a note. Sounds like she is MUCH healthier than she was. Has gained the weight the doctor wanted her to, had her reconstructive surgery and is doing well. It was good to hear from her. I know  quite a few of you remember Jeannie and have mentioned wondering how she was doing.

i got a similar note from jeannie a few weeks ago-as well as a message from someone the other day whom i will not disclose-sounded like this other gal wanted privacy kept...

so many folk disappear-for soooooo many reasons!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks, I know her health problems were severe so I was worried.  It's good to know the surgery fixed the problems.
Another person I think about often is Darlene.  I know she left the board but I miss her.  I really got a lot from her inspirational messages.

Karen,

Thanks for the update on Jeanne, it's good to know that she has gotten healthy again.  She has always been an outspoken lady, with health issues, so her presence is sorely missed, as are some others, but I know personally that life post-WLS has changed substantially to the point of my living allows me to participate here less often, but I still need you all and so I make my best efforts to try to stay connected. . .

Hugs, Laureen
