Thursday - Nearly Lunchtime here!!

Hi Everyone,

Thursday evening here. busy day. Managed to get a last minute appointment for a cortisone shot in my shoulder. The last one worked pretty well for 5 months. Doctor says one more and then we'll probably look at shaving a bit of bone off so that it doesn't pinch the nerve. Then it swells, gets inflamed, and hurts bad all the time especially when I roll over on it at night.

Ran around much of the day doing little errands here and there. That wears me out! I'd rather be home, or on the river, or reading a book. A shopper I am not.

Rainy here today, days getting much shorter already. I am so not ready for winter. I dread the short dark days so much that it keeps me from enjoying the fall. I'll work as much as I can from Nov-Feb just to get through it without falling into the major doldrums.

And. . . I have a sore throat. Too much contact with school kids this week. Sal****er gargle tonight. That helps as much as anything. Nothing else to report. Not in a great mood. Maybe a decent night's sleep will help. I think it's a double Tylenol PM night.
