Morning crew, hope you're sailing along on smooth waters.

I'm slowly breaking away from the sugar monster. When I was in the check out line at the store the other day I found some sugar free Key Lime Pie gum.  Yummmm. I'm not much of a gum chewer, but this is yummy, satisfies that need for sweet, and after 10 minutes or so, out it goes. Good enough.

Here's yesterday:

cottage cheese, cantaloupe and a mini bagel
1/2 pb&j on double fiber bread
leftover chinese
posole
watermelon
1/4 c lf granola

Good Morning and happy Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I was not as balanced carb/protein/fat as I want to be.  too much fat.  It was mostly the good kind but the wendy's chili was probably not even though it is a lower fat food than anything else I could have eaten there.


Oatmeal with banana and walnuts      good fat in the nuts

Wendy's small chilli

4oz grilled chicken breast  Carrabba's   ( brushed w/ olive oil and herbs)

salad W pesto vinegarette  (olive oil again)

1 small piece of bread  ( couldn't resist was hungry and waiting for food.  No butter "patting self  on back" I usually devour the whole basket and always use the butter.

Protein drink

lite cheese stick

Well that's it for me.

Friday

3 am cereal

cottage cheese with nectarine
sf jello
cherry tomato and green bean salad
2 low fat cheese sticks
hamburger with 100 cal whole grain flatbread
popcorn
turkey and swiss on 100 cal whole grain flatbread (with a little lite Miracle Whip)
a few peanuts (very few)

Looking back, it doesn't seem as bad as it felt at the time.  Bread twice in one day is unusual for me, even whole grain, plus I had popcorn, too. 

Still limping along.

I'm not sure, can one limp while doggy paddling?????
