Hello friends!

Good morning to all.  

Nothing too much going on, but have made appointments for my physical therapy.  I will have to go twice a week for awhile.   I have mixed emotions about it.   I also have a script for aquatic therapy,  I am really looking forward to that.  I love the water.

Been spending my time with my dogs, playing ball and being outside as much as I can.  Winter coming and I hate to be cooped up in the house.

Good morning Mary and all to follow.

Things are going good for me.  Sorry I have not been around.  I do read at least every other day, but have not posted.  Eileen's cat drew me out today.

I have been reading a bunch lately.  I have read two books since Friday and am on my third. 

Just following my Rangers.  Bought my playoff and World Series tickets already.  Not that I will get to use the World Series ones, but you never know.

Golly, sure wish I could spend some time outside. We've had 110 days of over 90 degrees this summer and I'm sick of it! I don't think Fall will ever get here, and if it does, it's not soon enough.

So very sorry to hear about Eileen's Scooter. Our little furbrats are a dear part of our lives that leave a dark hole when they're gone. Our Baxter needs to go to the vet very soon. He's been scratching and licking for awhile now, and the vet had him on steroids for about 30 days and it got better, but it's back and keeps me awake at night

Off to get ready to go to work, quite the busy day and grateful for the business. . Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning OFF family,

Well mom is doing better at Rose Arbor and has decided she is going to fight to live. Her daughter is going to take her in her home to take care of her there and have hospice nurses stop in and get a home health care aide also to help out. Her hubby was let go "downsized" from his job so he also will be home.

We are having a book sale here at work and they have a lot of cool things besides books. I bought a support back thingy for my chair here at work and a box of homemade looking cards.

It's suppose to get to 88 today here in Michigan...Wwwhhoooooo!!! Gotta go for a walk during lunch hour.

Hi Everyone. Well my day is coming to a close. 10.30 pm here. Today I had a lazy day. I spent some wonderful time with my future daughter-in-law. I am just so pleased that we get on well. Then my sister and her partner Lyn called in for a cuppa and the next minute it is 3.00 pm and i still had to have my pre-surgery bloods taken. So I scooted down to the hospital...closed. Rang around and found another one open. I dreaded ring the doc and saying 'sorry, i didn't get my bloods taken in time'. Then tonight i was sitting down ironing and watching my favourite show when my girlfriend shows up with her husband and some visitors. I was in my jammies and felt terrible. But hey, not much i could do about. So that's my day.

Such a beautiful morning today....I am sooooo glad to see some warmer weather once again.

Work has started out crazy again this morning so I don't have much time to chat. I am just taking a few minutes to catch up here with all you wonderful people!!!!

I feel so bad for Eileen....I know she is just devastated over her loss. RIP Scooter!

The suitcases are empty and put away, and the 10 days worth of dirty clothes are washed and back in the closet/drawers.  Went yesterday morning and got a few groceries and gassed up the van and got it washed.

Back on the job this morning -- sure feels good again.

Slept good last night and gradually getting over the jet lag. 

Supposed to get up to around 90 deg. here today -- the last day of summer....so ready for nice fall days.

Fluffy is gradually calming down from missing "Mom" ....poor baby was so lonely while I was gone.

Hi MaryMargaret and all my OFF friends,
So sad about Eileen's Scooter.
I have been reading but not posting.  Not enough time at work. 
I got the book "Mindful Loving" yesterday, but I forgot to bring it to work this morning.  I may go home at lunch and get it.  The book was recommended by my psychologist. 
It is a gorgeous day today - about 73.   The sun is shining.  I'll go home for lunch and sit on the deck and read.  We had a fire drill at work today.  It was so nice we didn't want to go back in.
I watched the premiere of The Event on NBC last night.  I hope it doesn't turn into another "Lost".  I just couldn't keep up with "Lost".  We stopped watching after the third season.
Tiger cubs were cute last night.  We are doing "Aviation" as the theme for this month.  We made paper cup whirlybirds.  In two weeks we'll do "make your own spaceship".  They have to bring in a box big enough for them to sit in to decorate.
Tonite I'm going to put all my summer clothes away and take stock of what I have for fall/winter.  Then I'll go shopping this weekend.  I have a Kohl's 15% off coupon and a $10 off anything coupon.
Not much else going on with me.  Lost 2 lbs. Woohoo.

Just a quick hello from me! I'm on my way to swim with the stingrays! I wanted to do that last time but a pre-hurricane kept the event closed. We're going to a beautiful beach called Rum Point- it's my favorite beach on the island. It looks like a made up postcard. My back is holding up well... last night we went to a resort party and I danced (a little wine helped me). I called it physical (and mental) therapy. I'm feeling pretty good this morning so I'm sure I didn't hurt it. Gotta go...
