I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Today is my day off and I'm working. What's wrong with that picture, I ask? Well, I guess I need to fire my scheduler lol
After work I go for my very long over due mammo. Keep good thoughts for me, will ya? I can't believe I've let so much time go by, and I really, really can't believe that as often as I see my PCP that he didn't remind me! A little aggravated about that, but ultimately it's my own fault.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Susan
Good mornin' ya'll.
It's Monday!! Some of us have returned from vacation and had a great time. Some of us are still relaxing during much needed time away. And some of us (me too), will soon be heading out to a few days of relaxation. So glad we are all able to enjoy this.
I am SOOOO ready to get my ROM back! My staples are out, the steristrips are off, I can sleep on both sides and my back in my own bed, I have no pain, and I am getting bored with the same PT exercises. I hope she adds more challenging ones tomorrow! I saw the x-ray of my new shoulder last week and I was surprised. I had no idea that the metal rod that holds the 'ball' part runs down my upper arm bone to within about an inch of my elbow! I will ask next time, but I'm not sure if it is screwed to the bone, or inside the bone. or replaces the bone. But I can definately understand why I have a little card to tell airport security why I beep going through the metal detector!
Today I think our son is going to get a new car for our DIL. They negotiated on Friday and weren't happy with the final offer and what they could get for trade- in on her Suburban. They spent Saturday searching other dealers in other towns. We were all surprised that the dealerships are closed on Sunday. We are used to metro areas where NOTHING is closed on Sundays. Anyway, she has to work all day. Our son will take the freshly cleaned out Suburban (along with all the maint records) and a hefty down payment and see what he can negotiate. She has here heart set on a particular 2010 Altima.
Me, I'm just gonna spend the day doing my PT, crochetting and watching some TV. I have such a busy life!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
HI OFF family,
Had a busy weekend with going to see my MIL at Rose Arbor Hospice, last night when we went to see her around 5pm she was sitting up in bed, eyes wide open and talking! She even ate and drank a little water. Even though she tired after eating, she tried to stay awake but ended up going back to sleep. She is a fighter that is for sure, tough Dutch woman! That's a compliment by the way. LOL!
We went to the Allegan Fair both Friday and Saturday, I liked this big leaf blower that you push and it normally sells for 1400.00, the guy offered to sell it for 750.00 so we bought it and now our friend offered to pay half so we could share. Works for me, what a deal! I told hubby we needed it since I would not be able to help with leaves this year because of my surgery and besides we have 10 acres and I hate raking leaves...always end up getting blisters. Hubby and friend are going to rig it up to pull behind their 4 wheelers. No more raking! Whhooooo! Now that is something to shout about! Hugs Debbie
I'm just checking in- we are having an unstructured day. I'll spend some time at the pool, lay outside on the beach . I'm reading a book called "Little Bee" and I like it very much. I also loaded a couple of books on my Kindle that I'm enjoying. That's it I guess... just enjoying my vacation.
