Good morning one and all.

Yesterday was  very busy at work and I was lucky to get lunch in. I brought home all of my snacks, but probably made up for some of the missed meals at dinner out. I had shrimp and grits, a Southern dish I've been wanting to try. Man, oh man, what nummyness!!!!!  I looked for a recipe on my favorite site, but they're all made with heavy cream or half and half, so I'm going to play around and come up with a lower fat/cal version. I'm on a mission!!!

bagel thin w/ WW cr cheese, 2 slices thin bacon, deli turkey
leftover tikki masala
shrimp and grits, glass of wine, one small roll ( very nice, relaxed evening. Note to self: must do this more often)

no snacks, threw away all of my sugar free candy, passed on the offer to split bread pudding for dessert. I might just get this train back on track!

We're on a train now?  Good idea. "I think I can, I think I can, I KNOW I can". Toy Train

Need a kick in the butt to stay on track. Too many fruits & veggies, way low on protein and water.

Need a sticky note to remember PROTEIN FIRST. No wonder I am feeling sluggish. I write that I'm going to eat cottage cheese, chicken but eat more of the veggies and push the remaining chicken aside.

In a perfect world, I'd be perfect instead of human.Sunshine

There's nothing wrong with fruits and veggies, you DO need at least 50 grams of carbs a day for proper brain function. How  about your B-12? Are you taking any?

You know that even the boats on Pirates Of the Carribbean at Disney are on tracks, don't you? Maybe that's us???

I know we need carbs but everything has been outta whack the past couple of weeks. This new antiboitic hasn't helped either.

Yes, I take B-12. Last check, my B-12 was 1200 or maybe even 1500. 

  Isn't today "Talk Like a Pirate Day"? Doesn"t matter, ship, boat, train or plane - we all fly together.

OK.  Back on the barge.  Or the track.  Whatever.  Kept off 2 of the 5 pounds I lost several weeks ago, then started to founder.  Then started to sink.

It's a new week.  I have absolutely NO social plans....including no dinners or lunches out.  Took chicken out of the freezer.  Will plan meals this week.

Winter clothes are tight.  I hate that.

I'm going out to the garden and clean up, and hopefully work up a sweat.
