Good Saturday Morning to everyone!!!!!
I am at work currently at 0143am and currently the drug seekers are either sleeping or drugging!!!!! Noone has been a pt in ther ER since 0000...... So far so good!!!!! I am cruising the internet and crossitching a smapler for my bosses presant for her wedding in November.

It is evening here, around 7.00 pm. I am just about to have my shake and watch some football. We are into the finals of our competition. Unfortunately my team didn't make it.
I have had a pretty boring day really. Hubby worked. I wrote up the weekly menu, until Wednesday because rny is on Thursday, then went and did the shopping. Came home and put it all away. My least favourite job. Then I did some washing, some cooking, cleaned the floors, made some vegetable juice, had a shake for afternoon tea.
I have just finished chatting with family in another state and I have my sister from New Zealand flying in tomorrow and I have organised a lovely barbecue lunch that I can't eat except for the salad.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good weekend too.

i'm up- don't feel well this morning- work 9-12 -will survive!
looking for my titanium bra and bigger pair of big girl brass panties- preparing to file for divorce - michael is so low now he is near hysterical and this will put him over the edge--so i need the titanium and brass to keep self solid and not give in to his tears and pleading.....he called last nite-when i disagreed with something he hung up-i waited 15 minutes for him to call back and then went to bed!
i ordered plans to build-yes me build!- a really neat dog house for my poopies! should prove interesting--hey-it's just a super sized doll house, right??????????

Same song, second verse. No insurance, no healthcare beyond a bandaid. As soon as they found out she had no insurance, they disconnected her IV and visits are very slim. Doctor who said they'd 'fix her right up' and keep her until Monday said that it looked like she was doing 'well enough to go home Saturday'.
I'm bringing her to my house. It's going to be a hellacious week for me as I have people coming from out of town for 4 days and a class reunion slumber party I have planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. She's not bedridden so she'll be all right here. I'm very close to the kids.
Sooo, today is $4 and some friend time, then home to get my house ready for a 'houseguest' and then pick Becky up and bring her home. This will 'force' me to stay at home today and get something done around here. Not a bad thing.
Face is doing fine...lots of knots where they pulled the muscles... and headaches, but we'll see if that lasts.. if it does... well, it does. I look darned good in pain.
Hope all of you have a good day. I know it's rough out there. Been through a lot of it myself and may again so know that I care.

The face pain goes away, but it takes a while. Lots of nerves are affected when they mess around moving the skin. Took 6 months to settle down after the little bit of skin they moved after they fixed my saggy eyebrow.
Gotta love the medical profession. If she was on public assistance, they'd do a lot more for her. Is there some emergency aid in Texas that takes care of the uninsured? I know New York loves to help people out.....

And I love when people say health care is a privilege, not a right ... yeah, and they're the ones who have the Cadillac plans. It is a right. We should all have access to health care. This is the richest country in the world, yet working people can't get decent health care.
I'm sorry for what your sister is going through. At least she has you. Don't know what I would do. My sister wouldn't take care of me.

It's 50 degrees here this morning.
I *****ed all summer that it was too hot and humid, now I'm whining because I'm cold. Guess my ex-husbands were right....I'm never happy.....
