I am back

It has been at least a year if not two since I posted here or even looked at the site. I got really discouraged....my weight loss was stalled............too make a boring story short my band slipped and after numerous attempts to take the fluid out and fill it slowly it would not cooperate so I am going to have a  revision done or something like that to get it back in the right position...I see my surgeon on Tuesday to get a date.....my insurance has already approved the procedure.

One good thing...........my sister ( who was totally against me having weight loss surgery) had her lap band done a month ago..........YAA HOO.........she is getting along ok....except for having a blood clot in her lung.........not sure if it was the result of the surgery or caused by something else..........she is getting along ok now.

Of the 90 lbs I lost I gained about 20 back : (

Barb, You are still 70 lbs lighter than you were. Sounds like given all of the complications that you're doing pretty darn good. Welcome home. You are not alone here. You're picking yourself back up and going in the right direction again. That is success so don't put yourself down.
