SUSAN...Rowing, paddling and sailing along. What did you eat?
Thanks Connie - sometimes the Captain needs a break.
Darned if I can remember what I ate yesterday.
Today:
B - berries, cottage cheese, Kashi
L - left over pork roast & green beans
D - there is a meat loaf in the oven & baby carrots
S - apple & pb
When stopped at the grocery store, I found myself with nose pressed against the ice cream freezer. Jeepers - ice cream isn't even a favorite. It was 2 hours beyond my normal lunch time so maybe that's the reason my eyes were grazing. Better with the eyes than the mouth.
Kisses

Still, after 4 years, I find myself standing in front of the donut case at the grocery store, just......window shopping. Donuts were always a huge weakness. Even four years out, I don't think I've had a total of 6 donuts, all purchased or brought by someone else. I still window shop, checking out each type of donut, weighing the pros and cons, taste, texture, sweetness. Then I decide "no" for that one, and start checking out the next one, and so on.
I actually never buy even one. But I do stand in front of the case sometimes for 10 or 15 minutes.
The store staff has learned to ignore me. But they smile and shake their heads.
Works for me.
