Pre-Op Consult
Up nice and early this morning to get to my 9.00 am appointment. 5 minutes down the road I turn on my radio and catch the tail end of a traffic report. Highway at a standstill due to a fatal accident. I was sitting in traffic for about 10 minutes and decided I had better cancel as there was no way I was going to make it.
Have been rescheduled to noon tomorrow.
I just realised that this time next week I will be fronting up to the hospital for admission. My heart is going overtime just thinking about it. That damn anxiety! I hope I can keep it in check. If it starts to get too bad I might ring and see if I can up my anxiety meds. I am okay with everything. I am doing my visualisations and thinking very positive things, including the nasty stuff. My head is where it needs to be but just when I make a connection about how close the surgery is ........

JULES!!! awwwww... too bad about that accident! as if your not anxious enough huh? wow! well... at least you got to reschedule quickly! im on anxiety meds too... LOL! i hope MY anxiety doesnt get too bad as i go on in MY journey! LOL! but like the other poster said They DO Put You To Sleep! I HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL... YOUR ON YOUR WAY BABY!!! Whooo Hooooo!!!
