Tuesday-talk to us!

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

Amazingly, it's only 82 degrees today. Wow, it's fall like. I'd open the windows but the pollen is so bad, my eyes itch so bad with the doors closed. I made an effort to clean the bathtub ... it was so slimy and yucky ... but after, my knee hurt so much. Hard to kneel and get in there to clean. I have to find a long-handled brush. Or a cleaning lady ... rather have the cleaning lady but have to wait to get more stuff put away.

Other than that, didn't do much yesterday; made salsa chicken for dinner, watched a baseball game and then the Chiefs-Chargers game before falling to sleep with the TV on. No big plans for the day; need to run to the grocery store for a few things. Then there's laundry waiting for me.

Have a good day.

I am on antibiotics for ear, throat and sinus infection. Darned things must be pure gold. a ten day supply was $169.00. Ouch!

The doctors have diagnosed Tom's foot problems which have been bad since April. Apparently, at some point he broke his foot (he has no clue when or how) and the bones grew back weird. A bunion caused a flare of arthritis and all the pain, swelling, etc. He has to be fitted for orthotics. If that doesn't work, Cortisone shots, if those don't work ... surgery. It is a relief to have an answer.

Time to pull out the warm clothes. It is way too cold already.

Kisses

Good to read that you have news on what Tom's problem is and sheesh, couldn't they give you a generic version of the antibiotic. . .  or better yet office samples. . .  anyway, hope you feel better.  The cold feels refreshing to me, but then again there is big difference between SNJ and Ithaca, NY. . .

Hugs almost Birthday girl . . .

An answer is good. Mike's ankle was broken in high school and he decided to remove the cast early. . . .that's the ankle that the gout always chooses. I think it seeks out weakened or injured areas. I don't like cortisone shots but the sure work on me.
