Still Inconclusive

Hi Everyone,
I just talked to my oncologist. He talked to the radiologist that read my MRI and it is still not conclusive that my vertabrae is not showing a metastasis. He will get the CDs tomorrow and go over them with the SF group, but now he is talking the PET Scan and a bone biopsy. It still is a 50/50 chance that it's just the injury but I so wanted the ordeal to be over. I'm crying- going to take a xanex and try to relax. This stuff is just so darn hard!

I'm so sorry ... you poor woman! I'm talking to Carla right now and she says the same thing. Hang in there. I know this is a tough and long process.

Dang, honey, this is the pits!  Hope all those smart people can get together and decide what's going on. Better to be sure, I guess.

Hugs and well wishes

Julia,
It must be so hard for you.  You've been through this before, as have I.  You cry until you can't cry anymore and then pick yourself up and do what you have to do to lick this thing.  But this lack of a diagnosis is holding up that process.  It must be so frustrating.  I'm hoping they get this figured out soon.
HUGS,
Bev

Geez...  how disappointing.  This must be getting really old for you.
I'm still thinking very positive thoughts for you and will continue to do so.

That is such disappointing news. This must be so hard. It is better to know one way or the other so you can deal with it. This is like being in limbo. Thoughts are with you all the way from oz.

Dang, but you do want them to check everything as completely as they can to get the diagnosis as correct as possible. Unfortunately that means more time and more anxiety on your part. Certainly not fair. I'm sorry.
