What's new this beautiful Monday Morning?

Hi Karen and my OFF family:

Karen, your camping adventures made me smile. And I needed that. It was a hell of a week at work last week ... Sunday should have been an easy day, and it would have been if it hadn't been for the NFL standings. I just couldn't get the thing to tab properly so it looked horrible. And it took so long I was late with two pages (one was the baseball page, which is just downloaded from the Gannett site and slapped on the page), and the scoreboard page, which had the NFL standings. I wasn't happy with myself. I really feel I'm failing here. Usually, someone asks if they can help ... no one asked this time.

Anyway, I have two days off and no plans ... no money, so I'm sticking close to home and saving gas. I put some salsa chicken in the slow cooker. I fed Scooter first, of course ... he ate a little ... licked up most of the juice, which is where the pill was, so I think he's getting his medicine.  He was waking me up at 7 a.m. and then 8 ... I thought it was only 9 and then they next thing I knew I looked at the clock and it was10:30 ... guess the cat knew the time better than I did.

Well, I've babbled on long enough. It's my SIL Margaret's birthday. She's a sweetie. Have a good day.

Hi Karen and all my OFF friends,
Karen, reading your post makes me want to get a little pop-up.  That won't do for hubby though.  He wants a queen size bed that you can walk around.  We will have a motorhome in our future sometime.  It would certainly make going to see our grandchildren less expensive.
Sorry about the pets.  We have had dogs depart and it was so depressing.  They are members of the family.
Glad to hear everyone seems to be on the mend.  Julia, I have my fingers and toes crossed and many prayers going up.  Eileen, I hope Scooter's meds help.
I procrastinated again and didn't get moving about getting ready for my first Tiger Cub meeting until 8:00 p.m. last night.  At 2:00 a.m. I was finished and went to bed.  Got up at 6:30 a.m. to get ready for work.  I'm just a tad bit tired!  I will probably go to bed tonite right after I get home from their meeting at 8:30 p.m. LOL.
Sat. I got our bedroom closet cleaned out and organized and did a deep cleaning (wiping down baseboards and everything).  It smells so nice in the bedroom now.
Well, got to get back to work.
Have a great day.
Bev
