Morning crew!
Long, busy day at work today, so eating will be hit and miss, but I'll do what I can. Yesterday I took a Healthy Choice Steamer thingy for lunch and it was awful! Couldn't eat even half of it, so I don't think I even hit 1200 calories for the day. I've really tried to stop munching in the evenings, which you all know isn't as easy as it sounds...lol.
Yesterday:
bkfst burrito
1/3 (?) Healthy Choice thing
cottage cheese, applesauce
3/4 chicken enchilada, beets
watermelon
lattes, protein iced coffee, lots of water

Well, as soon as I start getting smug about staying on track, I slip into the water. Not too bad, but I hope I got it out of my system. Mostly poor planning and laziness. Actually it's ALL poor planning and laziness....
Friday:

grilled turkey and swiss on a 7-grain 100 cal sandwich thingy
Arby's regular roast beef ..with roll, 'cause I waited too long and was too hungry...
a few Arby's curley fries (see above...)
2 coffee
skinny cow 100 cal bar
jello with cottage cheese and almonds
a big handful of potato chips
1 prune
Not near as bad as it's been, but not good. The chips were right before bed, and I wasn't hungry, but I really wanted them. (And for those who say they shouldn't be in the house....If they hadn't been, I probably would have eaten 7 other bad things to take care of the craving, and still not been satisfied, and still wanted them today. As it is, I'm thinking they're out of my system for a while...)
Getting there...

Your comment makes so much sense. We might keep good food in the house, but too much of a good thing can still pack on the pounds.
In the 'olden days' I spilled a handful of chips while devouring a super sized bag.
It seems like a good idea to give in to the cravings once in a while. A handful is a controlled portion. You did pretty darned good.

I am popping in again. I seem to do that a lot pop in....stay away....pop in ...ya get the picture.
The only thing consistent about me is my inconsistency...
I am still having problem with the night time munchies. I still graze too much. I don't think I'll be able to stop until someone finds a cure for my insomia. Lately it been 3:00-4:00 am before I am able to sleep. If I have nothing on my schedule the next day I just sleep until 10:00 or 11:00 but if I have to be up it is tough. I have a doctor's appt Monday and hopefully someone will listen to me and not just brush me off.
I started working with a personal trainer and have a few more sessions before I have to decide to bite the bullet and spend the money for another round or try to make it on my own. She is good and knowing I am meeting with her keeps me from making excuses. I am not losing weight as much as I would have hoped but I am a lot stronger. My knees are in much better shape now that my thigh muscles are actually working. She also had awful insomnia and said that her doctor put her on Paxil. She balked at the idea as it is an antidepressant and she was not depressed. He said it would help and she claims it saved her life.( a little dramatic I guess)
Anyway, Monday I am going to ask if an antildepressant might work for me.
today I will have:
2 boiled eggs Breakfast
SF jello and light string cheese snack
brisket, green beans and slaw lunch
banana snack
chicken fried brown rice dinner

And Paxil GAVE me rabid insomnia. I was given it to help treat my anxiety disorder. Man oh man did it backfire. We had just gone to Arkansas to see family,and I would be wide awake until 3-4 am. . . There are many different kinds of meds. I've yet to find any prescription one that really helps me sleep restfully. Some make me sleep but it's a very anxious, bad dream kind of sleep. I empathize. . .

Yeah...if ya read all the side effects you'll notice they cover all the bases. Says it can cause drowiness or insomnia

I am terrified it will make me re-gain more than I have already but if it will help me sleep I am willing to try. I was told that it would take at least 2 weeks to get into my system. so far I am not eating texas.
