Mom Passed Away on Monday

I'm going through the exact same thing with my wonderful MIL
Mom was just admitted again to the hospital last night.
I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Hold tight, we both will be up and down on the "roller coaster of life for awhile". Hugs Debbie

I am getting a special journal to write to mom. A friend of mine just lost her mom three weeks ago. She got a journal and has been writing down her thoughts to her mom. I think it's a great idea and will help me to process everything that I would normally stuff (with food no less).

As my brother and I were leaving the funeral home the evening of my father's viewing my brother handed an envelope to the director to place in the casket with our dad. I never asked Gary about it. I'm sure it was his private thoughts and feelings.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother.  It's not easy to lose a parent.  I had mixed feelings when my dad passed away last year too--sad because I missed him but relief that he wasn't suffering.  My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.  Cassie
