It's good that you keep all that stuff together!
I hear you about having everything you really need as memories. At special places or during special times, I always see a few people who are so busy taking pictures that they don't have time to notice and enjoy what's going on themselves! That's why I always say I'd rather make memories than pictures.
No, it has nothing to do with not being able to figure out these newfangled cameras; nothing at all!

This question hit home. I don't know if you read my post from a couple of days ago, but a friend of ours from the Texas Message Board lost her house the other day. The only thing they got out with was the family Bible.
Personally, I would make sure I had my clothes on and grab my cell phone. This way I could contact family members. Running through the kitchen, grab a crystal light on the run. Anything else,,

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
I grabbed my book of back-up DVDs--the ones that have my pictures, programs and other important stuff. This is so I wouldn't lose all my pictures. Most of them are in photo albums and there's just too many to grab. The book of DVDs holds about 40 of them so at least I'd save some of them as well as my writing, my games, and other programs I like on my computer.
