Hi Lileee

Welcome to a safe haven and a wonderful group of folks, most of us here have had RNY and many are quite a number of years post-op, so feel free to pick our brains.  I did the same thing, gathered up lots of info, which made it an easier transition and a whole lot less scary when the time came.

Best wishes, Laureen

Welcome, Lileee. I had an RNY in Michigan when I lived there six years ago, lost 180 pounds, gained back 20, hoped to lose it again. Some of us have had RNY, some lap bands, some DS, etc., one has lost weight the conventional way ... we all try to help each other out. It's a virtual support group.

Hi LIleee, I'm Judy and had my LAP RNY about 2 1/2 months ago.  I feel like a new woman!  Weight loss has been a bit slower for me than some others, but I am very happy with the progress as is my doctor.
So far, no problems and I hope that continues!

HI Lileee, Welcome to OFF! I found this forum about 1 year pre-op and have been around almost 7 years now. It remains my major support group.
