Hip replacement surgery yesterday

I had hip replacement surgery yesterday and it went really well. I haven't had much pain and I will probably get to go home tomorrow. Thanks for all of the support, I was really nervous about this and everyone's kind words was so appreciated.

Glad to hear everything went well for you.  Now make sure that you do your physical therapy and soon people will have to try to keep up with you!

I'm so glad you're doing so well. Three years ago I had my RNY and six months later my hip replacement. I remember walking one day with a cup of coffee in my hand (without a cane) and thinking wow, I'm thin and I can walk thanks to these 2 surgeries. I wondered which of my surgeries I loved the most and most admit that to be able to walk again was even better than being thin!

Follow your doctor's and P.T. orders and you'll soon feel like you are 20 years younger! Congrats and good wishes.
