And a Good Monday Morning to Ye! What's new?
Hi Karen,
Just popping in quickly to say hey, life is extremely busy as this summer comes to a close, cannot wait until Friday, 3:30 p.m. when I leave the office for a much needed vacation. Hoping to get some personal things tended to, as my house has gone to hell with so much activity and so little time to divide between house care and living life. . .
So much happening with so many folks, I am sending my love and thoughts to the many going through stuff, as well as to those who are not in situations that are as tough.
I miss my friends here, but little time spent on the computer, a little Farmville, mindless stuff early or late in the day, but otherwise, I am being activity driven. . .
Sending hugs and good wishes to all, peace and strength for the ability to get through those rough spots.

i'm at work- it's monday so i just have a minute-
my uncle wendall passed away yesterday- his funeral will be thurs but i cannot go--( between being pt at bank and some other stuff!) i feel good that we saw him last week- problem is that he died on his wife's birthday- it IS a blessing that he is gone from pain. he was too proud of a man for folks to see him like he had been.
pat r-would you be a sweetheart and mail me the obit-today's sturgis journal????
it was in that and the coldwater ppr-thanks!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Karen and my OFF family:
I'm in my jammies yet ... I might stay here all day but I have to get out and get some kitty litter. I'm trying to get rid of a headache before I get into the car, though. There are storm clouds outside and that usually means I have a headache, plus other aches and pains.
Last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I went to get another book and saw a pile of poop in the spare bedroom, right by the litter box. Now, this was no accident ... it was outside the box, not like it was a cling-on that dropped off. I think I really have to get Scooter to a vet. Not sure what's wrong, but something is ... he eats well, but he's peeing a lot and now the pooping outside the box. That has me worried. Don't think I can do it this week but in two weeks maybe.
Last night was at least better at work, except that sports was extremely slow getting me their stories. I could have been done with my pages a lot sooner if they had. But at least it was stress-free.
I have three days off and I really need them ... I'm so tired. This will help me rest up for the big start of the real football season on Friday. Nothing big planned, just hanging around the house, doing laundry, unpacking, etc. This week, it's unpacking the big pictures and hanging them. Then picking up the little things around the apartment. Soon it will feel more like home. When I have more money, I need to get a cleaning lady ... the place needs vacuuming and I know I can't do it without setting myself up for a lot of pain.
Well, that's all for me right now. Have a good day. Only 85 degrees here today.

Busy weekend. Got my house clean in one and half days of scrambling. Why do I procrastinate? By the time the party came on Sunday, I was exhausted. Everything turned out great though. My Mom's favorite sister and her husband came to her birthday party. There were 16 of us. It was a great day for a picnic. We ate too much as usual.
Friday night I'll pick up my Mom and she'll stay the night with us, as Saturday at 6:00 a.m., we'll leave for my son's house. It takes us 5 1/2 hours to get there. We are going to my granddaughter Tessie's first birthday party. We will stay the whole Labor Day weekend immersed in our four grandkids ~ heaven.
Tonite is the fishing derby for our cub scout pack so I'm leaving work at 4:00 p.m. to prep the park pavillion for their arrival. If it weren't for our party yesterday, I would have had hubby dig worms out of our compost pile. There are thousands in there.
