Its Thursday from Noah's Arck......
Morning Carl and all,
You can send some of that rain up north to us. It's so dry here that everyone's grass is turning brown.
Prayers going out to Mary and Janet for their surgery today.
I had a wonderful chat with Joyce Stewart the other day when I called to wish her a Happy Birthday. Hearing about her busy schedule just about wore me out. I don't know how she does so much.
I have an appointment with a surgeon on Monday to discuss my inguinal hernia. The pain is becoming more frequent lately. Unfortunately my gastro doctor wants to check my colon to make sure it's not anything besides the hernia, so having another Colonoscopy on Tuesday. I thought I was good for another 5 years, but guess not.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning OFF family,
Prayers are going up for those in need. It's just life isn't it? Right now it's a challenge for some of us. We will get through it and look on the bright side of life...because my friends it's life and we all know sometimes life is not fair.
I went home early from work yesterday, had some pain and it wasn't incisional pain, I think my tummy muscles are re-learning. Today I will take several walks though out the hospital and outside so I can stretch. Hopefully I will be able to work 8 hours today and not be wimpy and go home early! Hugs to all...Debbie

Amen to that, Debbie! I don't think you're wimpy for going home early, Debbie, let your body do the talking as you heal and hang in there! :)

Hi Carla and everyone!
Going to be cool here today. Nice change.
Carla I hope your migrane goes away and doesn't come back.
Not going to do too much today, just the usual boring stuff. Sometimes it is really hard to push yourself to do the mundane..lol
Last night I cleaned out one of our garages and found 8 bikes from the years from the kids and us. I bought a new bike last year and no one was riding the others. So...... I put them out front in the trash last night, it looked like a bike shop. Guess what??? Someone picked them all up. I was hoping for that, I am sure someone could use them. Or do what they want, scrap for metal. I guess that is what I am going to do if I don't want something, just put it out front with the trash.
I laughed , now I wished I would have taken a picture of all those bikes next to the trash can. Would have been a good one to frame with a funny caption. Why do we always think about what we SHOULD have done???
Prayers to all....
Peace

Hi Carla and my OFF family:
Well, I had the night from hell. Everything was going smoothly, but since the sports editor is leaving (and tonight was his last night, so he really didn't care), things aren't getting done like they should. The ***** who was in charge last night left for dinner and there was some stuff missing that I needed for the page. She was supposed to be back by 9:30 ... didn't get back til almost 10. My deadline is 10:30. So when she got back, I told her what I was missing; she was really snippy and said this wasn't the time to ask for it ... well, I didn't know how to reach her.
So what happened was my scoreboard page wound up being a half-hour late. She started throwing things at me to put on the page that I should have had much earlier in the day. By the time I got done, I hadn't been to the bathroom for two hours and I had been sitting for all that time and was so stiff, I was limping. My neck also hurt so much, I had a headache. No one said anything to me, but I'm sure I'm going to hear about being so late today. But this sports crew has to get its **** together now that the sports editor is gone. They are so unorganized. Football season starts in a week, and I'm just dreading it. I can work my butt off but if they don't know what they're doing, I'm going to be late every night.
Enough whining. I slept well enough and most of my aches are gone. I'm ready to tackle another day. I started writing this last night and then Scooter insisted on getting up on my lap ... I couldn't refuse. He helped me so much. We all need a friend sometimes. It was good to have my furry friend last night.
Well, I need more coffee. Have a good day.
