Possibility of Metastatic Cancer

I'm now officially scared. I manipulated in order to get the report from my MRI. It says that my L-1 vertabrae is highly suspicious for metastatic lesion with pathologic fracture. This usually happens with breast cancer or myeloma (which is luekemia I think). I have had the breast cancer team of the stars and they told me my chances of metastisis were almost nil. But I am really scared. I think that lots more tests are on the horizon- I'm so wishing that this was a simple thing. I just wanted to share my pain I guess.... I really never expected to get this kind of scary news.

Well, crap. There, I said it.

First of all, you've come to the right place, we're here for you.
Secondly, you haven't talked to the doctor yet, and even though this is scary, until you know something for sure, try to relax (yeah, easy for me to say)

Meyloma is very treatable. We have the leading Meyloma treatment center here in Little Rock....who would guess??? People come from all over the world for their treatment. I have a client from Denver who is here with her husband while he's having his treatments. Eight years and still going strong.

Love you honey. Keep us posted and we'll keep you in our hearts

Susan
